I’m considering putting the whole catalogue of @vimcasts on YouTube. Are there any reasons why I should hesitate?

oh great, thanks for purchasing! When you said “the book” I assumed you were referring to Practical Vim.

can you try again now and let me know if it works for you?
The vimcasts media server is currently offline, so you can’t watch the videos (although the website is still online).
Episode #76: Pasting into a terminal buffer: vimcasts.org/episodes/neovim…
In this video, we’ll look at how the Normal mode paste command works in a terminal buffer, and we’ll create a mapping to help with pasting text directly from Terminal mode.
Vim patch 8.0.1394 adds the TextYankPost. github.com/vim/vim/commit/7e…
I’ve updated the shownotes for episode 73 to reflect this: github.com/vimcasts/vimcasts…
Episode #75: Creating mappings for :terminal vimcasts.org/episodes/neovim…
Just like :nnoremap and :inoremap create mappings for Normal and Insert mode, you can use :tnoremap in Neovim to create mappings for Terminal mode. #neovim
yeah, that’s a nice feature. And of course you can also use `p` to paste text from a register into a terminal buffer.
that is interesting. See also: xitter.cf/nelstrom/status/935489…

IMHO, Vim and tmux go together well because tmux makes up for Vim's shortcomings. With Neovim's :terminal feature (and job control), some of those shortcomings no longer exist.

I have to say, I didn't think I'd care about having a terminal in Neovim, but after seeing @vimcasts talk about it, I tried it, and I'm totally sold.
It's a little weird to run a terminal, in Neovim, in tmux, in iTerm, but also super neat for some things.

Episode #74: Neovim’s Terminal Emulator: vimcasts.org/episodes/neovim…
This lets you run programs in a terminal buffer inside of Neovim.
