This is Wayne. If you're a teacher in his LA, just know he resents abd criticises you publicly on sicial media. Thought you should know who you're working with.

Hey up bradders I work for a local authority.
I get 31 days annual leave +bank holidays, so essentially taking away Sats & Suns , I work 222 days a year.
Great isn't it , work for the same local authority and teachers work 27 days less than me.
Good life isn't it 👍
Another example of how parents view school as childcare.
I'm on UPS3. My salary hasn't been reviewed for 6 years. That's the highest it can go without moving to leadership scale. It's literally ringfenced.
Teachers on the upper pay range are no longer entitled to a pay review every year. This is one of several changes in the updated Schools Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document

Surely you'd visit an optician for help. Something like a prism in your lenses to help your eye muscles.

my eyes are fucked up and don't work together and they cross and if I'm tired or reading a lot I start to get a headache bc my eyes are struggling so much so I take acetaminophen if I went to the Dr for that they would tell me to take acetaminophen or go to sleep 💀
What's a mild acute pain other than an oxymoron?

We take a tablet or two and have a nap. Sometimes we rehydrate and have a nap. Sometimes we take a tablet or two, rehydrate, and have a nap. You know... like most people do.

Meet Nev who believes disabled people's live are limited to visiting the lical shops, hospital, and their GP and that they shouldn't be afforded decent motability as a result. Nev hasn't met many disabled people have they?
This makes it a total scam on the taxpayer. A false economy of taking taxpayer money to sell new cars. A ten year old car can comfortably go through MOT, even a fifteen year old one can.
Disabled people need to move to shops, hospital and the GP, places a short distance from where they live. If they need a brand new vehicle for holidays and leisure then they can pay for it themselves instead of burdening everyone else.
Today I've mainly blocked very angry, hate-filled people who are incapable of any resembling healthy discourse. Their live must be one dimensional and empty of any form of peace.
But you won't open comments for feedback. It's a two way street love.
I will always back teachers, support staff, and the whole school workforce so they feel valued, have the support they need and are rewarded and recognised for the amazing work they do.
Pleased to see the NEU has agreed to stop its ballot for industrial action.
There’s a lot to do to get our education system working well for every child, so let’s work together to achieve that.
Hey Andy, can you publicly say something to condemn the awful comments about the RNLI that are being made by so-called patriots. It's sickening and needs addressing.
@andyburnham
Here's me thinking for the past 20yrs that education is about teaching new knowledge and deepening understanding. I guess I've been getting it wrong, and shoukd have just let students do what they can.
I think education should be about what you can do, and not what you can’t do.

Meet Matt your local councillor who has the best interest of women at heart. Next he'll be calling them hysterical and advocating for force feeding when they go on hunger strike to protect their democratic right to universal suffrage. Deeds not words ladies!
Meet Nabeel ladies. You'll can thank me later for the warning.
Anyone else seeing some totally odd A level Eng Lit results today from AQA? We're scratching our heads here and recalling lots of papers.
It seems to me that the academic route is under attack: tax on independent schools, push for new vocational route, dismissive attitude towards universities, loss of humanities at many unis... highly ironic given how many of the cabinet got where they are because of it.
