Americans have elected three Black governors in the nation's 250-year history. By next week, that figure could multiply.
From Keisha Lance Bottoms in Georgia to Byron Donalds in Florida to David Crowley in Wisconsin, Black candidates are vying to lead eight states from the South to the Midwest to the West. In all, five Democrats are running in gubernatorial races, and three Republicans are vying to be the country's first elected Black Republican governor.

Georgia: Let me tell you about your next Governor, Keisha Lance Bottoms.
As Mayor of Atlanta, she left the city with a $180 million surplus, major investments in affordable housing, and a 30% pay raise for police officers.
And that’s exactly the kind of Governor she will be.

Don’t let me lose you with this one. Peep game. If you go WAY out of your way for the wrong people, they won’t think YOU’RE amazing for what you did. They’ll think THEY’RE amazing, that’s why you’d even do it for them.
