Roblox is about to onboard over 200M people to AI.
They just revealed a new AI chatbot called Roblox Assistant, allowing creators build virtual worlds just by typing prompts.
What's even more fascinating, is that over 43% of Roblox users are under the age of 13.
The next-gen of builders will be learning how to talk with AI revolution at a VERY young age.
We're headed into a new era.

The Uncrustables brand is somehow headed for $1B in annual sales and its timeline is wild:
▫️1995: Two dads in North Dakota invent frozen crustless PB&J sandwiches and sell them to the local school district
▫️1998: Acquired by Smuckers for $1m
▫️1999: A US patent is issued for a “sealed crustless sandwhich”
▫️2004: Sales hit ~$30m
▫️2008: US Patent Office rescinds the patent for a “sealed crustless sandwhich”
▫️2021: Smuckers invests $1.1B to build a plant in Alabama
▫️2022: Sales hit $500m+ and the brand launches meat, cheese and taco versions
▫️2023: Smuckers plans to put real marketing push behind brand to get to $1B (previously was word-of-mouth because it didn’t have factories to meet demand)

Which is better: silicon or biological intelligence, I asked GPT-4.
Its answer:
Certainly! The debate between biological and silicon (or artificial) intelligence is multifaceted and delves into various scientific, philosophical, and ethical domains. Here's a breakdown of the relative strengths and potential weaknesses of both:
**Biological Intelligence (Humans and other animals):**
**Strengths:**
1. **Adaptability**: Humans can adapt and learn in diverse environments, even ones they were not specifically evolved or conditioned for.
2. **Integrated Experiences**: Human intelligence is intrinsically linked with emotions, intuition, consciousness, and a plethora of sensory experiences.
3. **Generalization**: Humans can learn skills and apply them in vastly different scenarios, often using abstract thought.
4. **Creativity**: Humans have demonstrated unparalleled creativity, from arts to invention.
**Weaknesses:**
1. **Processing Speed**: Biological processes are generally slower than electronic computations.
2. **Biological Constraints**: Fatigue, lifespan limitations, and susceptibility to diseases can hinder biological intelligence.
3. **Inefficiencies**: The human brain is not always efficient. It's susceptible to biases, memory inaccuracies, and cognitive fallacies.
**Silicon (Artificial) Intelligence:**
**Strengths:**
1. **Processing Speed**: Machines can process vast amounts of data at speeds incomprehensible to humans.
2. **Scalability**: Once an AI is trained, it can be duplicated infinitely without a decrease in performance.
3. **Precision**: AI can perform tasks without the human errors caused by fatigue or distraction.
4. **Data Handling**: AI can manage, analyze, and draw insights from vast datasets beyond human capacity.
5. **Continuous Operation**: Machines don't need rest, so they can operate continuously.
**Weaknesses:**
1. **Lack of Common Sense**: Many AIs lack the generalized common sense that humans possess.
2. **Emotion and Consciousness**: Current AI lacks genuine emotions, intuition, or consciousness.
3. **Over-Specialization**: Some AI models are hyper-specialized and may not perform well outside their training set.
4. **Dependency**: AI requires infrastructure, including electricity and hardware, to operate.
**Considerations:**
1. **Purpose**: The "better" form of intelligence may depend on the specific task. For instance, AIs are superior in raw data processing, while humans excel in abstract thought and creativity.
2. **Coexistence and Augmentation**: Instead of an either-or scenario, many experts believe in a future where AI augments human capabilities, resulting in a symbiotic relationship.
3. **Ethics and Morality**: The rise of AI brings about ethical concerns, such as the potential for misuse, the implications of creating conscious machines, and the societal impacts of automation.
In conclusion, whether one form of intelligence is "better" than the other is subjective and context-dependent. Both have unique advantages, and the optimal scenario might involve harnessing the strengths of both.

My favorite question in 2023:
What is ignored by the media -- but will be studied by historians?
Here's the 9 best examples:

We are in the middle of a few “weeks where decades happen,” and people who aren’t paying attention will, as always, call those who positioned themselves intelligently, “lucky.”
Lean into what you're good at that intersects with what you're trying to accomplish. Stop listening to everyone on "all the things" you need to do. Go inward, not outward. You'll succeed.

Great write up on the upcoming #Ethereum merge and its related economics. I've been long on ETH since genesis in 2014. Now's a great time to double down on it.
Thank you @USCIS for the swift Humanitarian Parole approval. My half-sister is now with me and safe. In addition to the media reports, her personal accounts of people's struggle there are heart breaking. 🇺🇦
