We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and pursue her dreams without menstrual health challenges standing in her way.
Year after year, we have proudly commemorated Menstrual Hygiene Day, reaching over 500 disadvantaged girls in public schools with reusable sanitary pads to help alleviate period poverty and keep them in school.
Our commitment goes beyond the donations. We have also invited boys to participate in these events, encouraging them to support their female peers, learn about menstrual hygiene and become advocates for awareness, understanding and a more inclusive school environment.
Because menstrual health is not just a girls’ issue but it is a shared responsibility.
Together, we can break the stigma, empower girls and create a future where every girl can learn with confidence.

At the 3rd Russia–Africa Summit in Moscow, today, I reaffirmed Africa’s firm commitment to ending longstanding dependency on foreign aid and raw material extraction, urging our global partners to embrace investment models that deliver equitable, long-term returns for all.
Our goal as Africa’s current leaders is to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and transform historic goodwill into robust, sustainable commercial ties. Africa is a continent of the future. Immense opportunities abound for mutual investment between African and Russian enterprises, particularly in agriculture, agro-processing, healthcare, energy security, and digital services.
To address trade imbalances and create direct market access for African goods, we must deploy modernised trade settlement mechanisms, including the use of local currencies and integrated digital payments. Better market information, predictable quality standards, resilient logistics, and closer cooperation between our respective private sectors can make trade far more balanced, reliable, and mutually rewarding.

Yesterday, I joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lab Policy Colloquium, held under the theme “Mid-Term of the NDC Government: Towards Political Consolidation.”
The colloquium provided an important platform for reflection, policy dialogue, and strategic engagement on the government’s mid-term journey, with emphasis on consolidating progress, strengthening governance, and advancing policies that respond to the aspirations of the Ghanaian people.
As we move forward, sustained dialogue, unity of purpose, and a shared commitment to delivering on our promises remain essential to building a stronger and more prosperous Ghana.
