wtf is going on in r/opensource bro !??
they banned projects that use AI, set a 3+ contributor rule, and told people who don't speak English to find another community.
and the funniest part is that even people who hate AI slop think these rules are ridiculous.
i mean filter AI slop, sure but when people are already asking if linux itself would even be welcome, given that AI tools have been used in kernel development, maybe it's time to rethink the rules.
if you are building something, bookmark this and thank me later.

Welcome to dotstore @shotbaseapp.
I am building a bunch of stuff behind the scenes and recently shipped a new algo to find similar/alt apps.
Feeling great to get this initial validation ♥️

most AI products don't need the most expensive model for every task.
the hard part is figuring out what can be downgraded without sacrificing quality.
RouterPlus tests models on your actual workload and finds the right model + provider for your needs.
send your usage to routerplus.com for a free model, provider and cost review
🤝 Paid partnership
Getting your inference right shouldn't be hard.
@useRouterPlus (YC F26) is live: the right model and provider for your workload, at the best price.
