You want to takk about issues? Today Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan’s home was bulldozed over non- maintenance. A legend’s home lost due to beaurocracy and red tape. Couldn’t they have repaired the home and turned portions of it into a memorial? I visited to ask his permission before I did a jugalbandi with his principal disciple. He gave both of us his blessings . I cry today that his house has been bulldozed vindictively. He used to bathe in the Ganges and perform in the Durga Mandir near Sankatmochan every day. Religion was not an issue for him, Music was. He believed Music had no religion and was Universal! I am heartbroken today. Bismillah Khan will never disappear from our lives. The government’s attitudes hurt deeply. @ShekharGupta @virsanghvi @INTACHIndia @sardesairajdeep @PrannoyRoy7749 @realpreityzinta
