.hyp is the next-generation app format for @hyperfy_io V2. It is a single file that bundles a GLB, a script and metadata. These apps are fully portable and can be shared, embedded in NFTs or dropped into any world.
From simple 3D objects to mini-games, vehicles, inventory systems and even entire worlds, .hyp makes everything modular, composable and limitless.
You can also bundle multiple scripts and assets into a single .hyp to create a complete scene.hyp that includes skyboxes, HDRIs, audio, NPCs and more, making it possible to package entire interactive environments into one portable file.

Itβs extremely good that Anthropic has not backed down, and itβs siginficant that OpenAI has taken a similar stance.
In the future, there will be much more challenging situations of this nature, and it will be critical for the relevant leaders to rise up to the occasion, for fierce competitors to put their differences aside. Good to see that happen today.
