Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) & Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) observed Vigilance Awareness Week – 2026 from 26th October to 1st November 2026, under the theme “Probity for Prosperity”, promoting integrity, transparency and accountability.
The Valedictory Function was held on 4th November 2026 with Shri Jasmeet Singh Bindra, IRTS, Chairperson, VPA & DCIL as the chief guest. The event was graced by Shri T. Arun Prasad, IES, Chief Vigilance Officer, VPA & DCIL, Smt. K. Roshni Aparanji Korati, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, VPA and Capt. S. Divakar, Managing Director & CEO, DCIL, employees of VPA & DCIL in large number participated in the event. on the occasion, prizes are distributed to winners of drawing and quiz competitions conducted at various schools and colleges in Visakhapatnam. For the first time, a Panamax vessel has been berthed at the Inner Harbour for the mechanical loading of Export Alumina!
VPA successfully berthed M.V. GUAN YUAN JU XING at WQ-5 Berth for loading approximately 30,600 MT of Export Alumina on behalf of NALCO on 04.11.2026.
