Among it's many functions, the stress hormone cortisol decreases pain sensitivity. Is this how #VirtualReality might reduce pain? This week we started a new study @CedarsSinai to measure cortisol levels before vs. after a relaxing #VR experience. 9 patients enrolled so far.
