one thing i've noticed in crypto is how differently people behave depending on how much money they have
someone with $2k wants to turn it into $20k someone with $20k wants $200k someone with $200k starts taking risks they would've considered ridiculous a few years earlier
at some point, your financial situation improves, but your expectations adjust even faster
and if you're never satisfied with the amount you have, there's no portfolio size that will make you stop taking unnecessary risks
i think knowing when you have enough is one of the hardest things to learn in crypto

Nobody will remember:
- If you're a lawyer
- If you're a doctor
- If you're a trader or a software engineer
People will only remember:
- If you have motion
a whale just opened a $90M BTC long with 10x leverage
liquidation price: $75,000
do you guys actually care about these whale alerts?
cause personally, i couldn't give a fuck what whales are doing
i think we judge founders way too much on their promises and not enough on how they handle failure
building something when everyone is excited and funding is available is one thing
keeping customers, managing costs and knowing when to change direction is a different challenge
if everything went wrong tomorrow, would you still trust that founder with your money?

BREAKING: A fusion startup says it has turned mercury into gold, producing 10 times more than CERN's previous record.
Marathon Fusion says it achieved this using nuclear fusion.
For now, the amounts are tiny. But gold's price depends on it being rare, so anything that makes gold easier to produce is worth watching.

thin moves up & down in compressed range typically precede a large move out of the range

Just saw that a nuclear fusion startup, Marathon Fusion, claims it has managed to turn mercury into gold
Producing gold in a lab is one thing, but making enough of it cheaply enough to affect global supply is a completely different challenge
It got me thinking about @theo_xyz ,because gold also has an entire lending market that rarely gets discussed on CT
Retailers borrow physical gold to finance inventory and pay for that financing, which is where thGOLD's yield comes from
Even if fusion eventually makes gold cheaper to produce, businesses could still have reasons to borrow it rather than purchase everything upfront
Ofc cheaper gold could also affect borrowing demand, lease rates, and the economics behind that yield
Gold's scarcity gets most of the attention, but the way it's financed deserves just as much discussion
connecting dots here
leaderboard has a rank change column packs exist
so does pulling someone at 60 who jumps to 20 mean your card is suddenly worth more?
if yes, motion just turned culture into something you can actually collect

BIG STEP FOR STABLECOIN ADOPTION IN THE US
🇺🇸 The US banking regulator has finalized its stablecoin rules under the GENIUS Act, effective Jan 18, 2027.
This will help more banks and financial institutions issue stablecoins under clear rules.
You're up 2% on a trade.
Take profit or wait? What if it reverses?
You close.
Five minutes later, price hits your original target.
Of course it does.
On o2, set your Take Profit and Stop Loss upfront.
Lock in gains or limit losses automatically, without having to watch every candle.
who tf is Kimchi and what exactly has he done for crypto?
bro apparently made $40M on TRUMP at an $88B market cap damn, must've been really hard to make money on that one lmao
but seriously, what was he trading before TRUMP, and what has he traded since?
where's the actual track record that makes this guy such a legendary trader?
something i've been thinking about lately is how differently people treat bitcoin compared to the rest of crypto
when things get uncertain, BTC is usually the first asset people look at
but that doesn't mean every altcoin deserves the same confidence
i think the next few months could really show which projects have enough demand to survive without the whole market going up together
A country can't really change for the better if its own people aren't willing to change too
You can't demand a better society while treating your fellow citizens like enemies
At some point, we have to take responsibility for the kind of society we're creating
I see people, even friends lol, calling for what’s happening in France to be repeated in other countries
Are you out of your minds?
Of course, I’m not going to base my opinion on everything that appears here on X
but come on man
I’m seeing so many people looting just for the sake of stealing and assaulting people for defending what’s theirs.
I believe in change and in how the people must fight to achieve it.
But not by attacking each other.
I pray this doesn’t happen in my country and that it doesn’t continue spreading across the rest of Europe.
