During his rise to power, Hitler attempted a violent coup at one point, was arrested and tried. While the sentence should have been life, he was given 5 years and got out in 9 months. He went on to start WWII in which 70-80 million people died. Is there a lesson in this for us?

JD Vance co-founded Rockbridge, a conservative political network now at the center of a Brazilian election interference investigation.
Brazilian investigative reporting found that people connected to Rockbridge allegedly provided Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign with social media monitoring, reports, and consulting that reportedly did not appear in campaign financial disclosures.
In other words, not only has Vance and Trump broken election law in this country repeatedly, but they expanded and did it in Brazil too.
Documents obtained by Brazilian journalists also outlined plans for a Rockbridge operation in Brazil, including wealthy donors, media influence, youth training, and efforts to shape the country’s political agenda.
Now Brazil’s Supreme Court has ordered a federal police investigation into possible foreign election interference.
