ALT Ash read Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City by Guy Delisle. Ash says, "This graphic novel is a travel log about the year Guy Delisle spent living it Beit Hanina. He manages to visit many place - Tel Aviv, parts of Easy and West Jerusalem, Sheikh Jarrah, and Ramallah, to name a few. He tells a lot about all of the historical sites he visits and their history, and he does not bombard the read with too much of his own opinion. He is a master of knowing when to use dialogue, and when to let the scene speak for itself. Before I read this book, I didn't know that the Sheikh Jarrah evictions had been going on since the late 2000s. I also learned some things about the Samaritans."

ALT Johanna read Heartstopper, Volume 3 by Alice Oseman. Johanna says, "Heartstopper Volume 3, along with Volumes 1 and 2 were cute, fast reads about figuring yourself out, finding your true friends, and figuring out first loves. Charlie and Nick are both sweet characters that are easy to root for, and the side characters are equally interesting and loveable. I'm excited to see what Oseman brings for Volume 4!"

ALT Mo read Paper Girls, Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan. Mo says, "Interesting first volume! I very much enjoyed the author's art style and coloring, as well as realistic dialogue. An interesting take on time travel, with space ships made of flesh, white knights riding on prehistoric beasts, and four paper girls trying to survive. I'm curious to see where the next volume will lead me!"
