Away from #Wave105, it is important to realise the amount of reasons to hate @bauermedia. They stripping all their remaining local stations of identity, sacking most presenters on Scala Radio to cut costs, and are ageists. All while building a new HQ, money must be tight 🙄 (1/2)
They've done this to my account from the very start, but nice to see it on paper 🤣 The big platforms seem to silence our opinions on these matters, don't know what more they want me to do to clarify I am not #Wave105 😭

As they sack DJs, and go presenter free on shows whilst making up excuses like people want to hear less talking, they pay @RealKenBruce and @simonmayo six (possibly seven!) figure salaries, and destroy local stations just so they can continue to afford it! SPREAD THE WORD! (2/2)
Oh, and one more thing. Destroying #Wave105 will lead to less listeners (us) and therefore less of that filthy money @bauermedia. Didn't think that one through, eh? Remember to give us a response to that complaint that finds you breaking regulations sometime too, yeah? @Ofcom x

@bauermedia the changes you are making to @wave105radio are awful. Half a million weekly listeners that you have upset. It'll be really interesting to see audience figures after the change. Most I've spoken to are switching off. If you couldn't fund it, you should have sold it!
For anyone refusing to listen to GHR, you ain't missing out! 5 minutes in and I'm already bored. What happened should be a lesson to @Ofcom to stop radio giants like Bauer being able to destroy local radio so easily. I won't be listening again! @GHR_SouthCoast

Alas this maybe too late to save Wave 105 but it is clear action needs to be taken to safeguard local commercial radio and to challenge the likes of Bauer and Global from making unethical and greedy decisions against the wishes of the radio public! Part 2/2 – at Eastleigh, England
Seeing this now is heartbreaking. The listeners were always there, but Bauer Media, for a change, didn't listen. We will forever know Wave 105, not some nationalised brand!
