I suck at organizing notes and docs.
So I built two custom collections for Thymer that uses AI to categorize any note I make.
Also, I now have a place to where I can work without being restrained by organization.
I feel free.
Shoutout to @wcools and @jdvhouten for what they've built.
P.S. if anyone has any ideas to add, let me know! I'll provide the config and code for everything below.
#thymer (@wcools @jdvhouten) alpha relased about 1 week ago and @riclib already created an AI chat plugin that can turn Thymer into an AI-native workspace. Context aware and can use multiple providers Anthropic, OpenAI, Ollama, Custom.
Amazing work 💯💯💯

A beautiful way to keep track of the books I have read - easily create different views and tweak which columns to show

"Collaborative text editing without CRDTs or OT"
Awesome talk from @MatthewWeidner3 on how you don't need CRDTs to build collaborative text editing.

Query filters for Thymer! Very useful to create for example a Kanban board (or table, calendar, gallery, etc) that only show items related to specific people, projects, tasks.
Thymer checks your filter as you type so you'll know if you made any typos :)

Thymer doesn't need a million features because users can just vibe-code a plugin that does exactly what they need!

I took some time to reply to several audio questions today — with audio responses!
Questions were about coding, building in public, no-code, creators and web3, and startup ideas.
Keep the questions coming.

well that was slightly nerve-racking, the first time I've posted on @IndieHackers
nice to see some familiar faces on there @harrydry and @bentossell (Ben that was heroically close! 🏴🏴🏴)
Looking forward to sharing insights from @arvidkahl!

Day 22 of #80daystartup
Just wrote about delivering good customer support. When we just started out we used formal language in order to sound professional but it's much better to just sound like a real human. Use short sentences and use simple words.

#buildinpublic is to marketing what #nocode is to building, and probably even better

Engineers who are inclined to do zero marketing should try to overdo their marketing, and maybe they'll end up doing barely enough.

Games back then really were a mix of technical prowess and art. It's fascinating to see the curtain pulled back a little. I love articles like this ❤️

Day 8 of #80daystartup. Prototyping and more prototyping for our SaaS startup.
I just wrote a short piece on why we're choosing to go with a tech-heavy MVP, when there are so many alternative routes like #nocode.

End of the week 1 of #80daystartup! We got a product idea, basic market research, some napkin sketches and a long list of things that will get cut from our MVP :)

Offer an unlimited plan at a high price point. It offers your customers predictable costs, so they don't have to worry about future changes to their pricing plan (e.g. when billing X/user/month and for you, it's a way to incentivize users to commit to a larger plan.
