The tragedy of all those lost decades for so many people like Ruth.
I've seen the work that @poblgroup and many other care providers give, helping people live their fullest lives, and it's incredible.

Great turnout for the #StolenLivesWales #HomesNotHospitals protest outside the Senedd today. People with a learning disability and/or autism should not be locked up in hospitals

Important protest today🔽
#StolenLives: 1pm at the Senedd, urging Welsh govt to stop incarcerating autistic people/people with learning disabilities.
People are locked up - in many cases far from family and friends - instead of being in real homes, in real communities.
We are tired of the @WelshGovernment
telling us that we are unique cases and therefore not worthy of their time. We at Stolen Lives believe that every person - and every family-matters. And we believe in Homes, not Hospitals.
