Great visit to Machynlleth this morning and an opportunity to look at the hospital developments and discuss the use of built in community space. A fantastic investment in North Powys. #health #community

Realistic new year's resolutions:
Get slightly older each day
Eat more cheese
Discard old socks
Drink the same amount of tea
Never run out of biscuits
Say “getting there” a lot

Organisations can no longer rely on top-down problem solving. As leaders, we have to build a culture of learning & adaptability; to bring many, diverse perspectives to challenges, to feel safe to experiment & fail, to keep learning along the way:qaspire.com/2022/07/06/leade… By @tnvora

ALT The graphic is a tree with five branches that represent the five leadership skills for building a learning culture: ✔ Cross-cutting: Building diverse networks and strong ties within and outside the organization enabling access to diverse perspectives and knowledge. ✔ Collaborating: Harnessing the benefits of diversity by creating a safe environment for people to contribute. ✔ Coaching: Empowering people to use their autonomy by having conversations that develop others’ potential. ✔ Culture Shaping: Moving towards a a culture that fosters growth mindset while also assessing corporate practices. ✔ Connecting: Building trust and engagement amongst team members through empathy and authentic leadership.
