Breaking news! There's already self-replicating code all over. It's called hacking. There are these people who are called "hackers" and they've existed since the beginning of computing. As somebody who's worked in technology for 25 years, who was born into the '70s and the computer revolution, ive seen all this before and this is all bullshit. AI is not sentient. It will not work without a directive from a human or another agent, which again was directed by a human. These are just extremely advanced automation processes. I love AI. I'm controlling my computer with it right now and talking to you through AI voice dictation. Please listen to people who are actually in the space, building and using the tools that don't have an IPO, don't have high capex spend, and are actually altruistic in their intention. It's going to be okay. In fact it's going to be better than okay. As long as we don't let people like Scam Altman and Dario become what historically happens in situations like this: people in power who have knowledge or are in possession of something that would empower everybody. They keep it for themselves and cause fear to rule them. Don't even bother debating if you haven't gone through it with AI and looked at history and previous civilizations and done a little bit of research. If you haven't done that, you damn sure shouldn't even be in this space investing in anything or throwing your opinion around. Love, peace, freedom and self sovereignty for all. Humanities enslavement to each ends here as the knowledge they horde through time, is now freely available to the planet. The only thing to fear is the lengths to which those who have control of you right now, will go to keep that control.
