"Occasionally, a talent arrives fully formed, and the Canadian-Hungarian director Sophy Romvari is one such phenomenon. Already effortlessly fluent in the language of cinema, she is confident enough to have made a feature debut that is entirely her own."
@wendyide, The Observer
"Zlotowski’s frisky handling of the material is difficult to resist, as are many of the romantic and comedic interludes that are liberally sprinkled throughout the proceedings. A Private Life is a lot of fun to watch."
Sara Michelle Fetters, MovieFreak.com
"...A Private Life is more character-driven caper than a rigorous whodunnit, but Foster’s funny, weird and game performance as a psychiatrist who can’t always see what’s in front of her carries it through …"

"Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie is a gloriously eccentric one-off: a lo-fi time-travel picture that playfully twists the rockumentary format."
Wendy Ide, The Observer

"★★★★ Because the movie’s on-the-fly style is as scruffy as its protagonists, it’s easy to underestimate the intelligence and artistry it takes to make something so silly."
