I just earned the Active Directory Red Team Specialist certificate from @cyberwarfarelab! I started taking it when I was attending a conference and got impressed by the knowledge I could acquire. Recommended. Next cert: CRT-ID?

I started digging into Win32k callbacks while looking for a PatchGuard bypass. That lead went nowhere, but it raised a better question: how does the Windows kernel choose the callback for session-specific GUI work? idov31.github.io/posts/paint… 1/3

> guy gets his Microsoft account hacked > Microsoft acknowledges that it was his account and it was compromised > Microsoft cant recover the account > Microsoft deletes account fully instead > guy loses 25 years of data, thousands spent on games, family photos MicroSlop strikes again
Microsoft DELETED my account AND OneDrive!!?? After ACKNOWLEDGING that I’m the owner of the account and that it was compromised??? 25 fucking years of data, thousands of euros spended on games?? My son’s baby pictures? GONE! All because MICROSOFT couldn’t bring back a compromised account?? One of the biggest companies ever coulnd’t do that so they just deleted that shit like it was nothing?? Linux memfd_secret creates an anonymous file backed by memory that is completely inaccessible to the kernel itself. even root cannot read it via /dev/mem or ptrace. It's the ultimate primitive for storing cryptographic keys in userspace.
