Not all RWAs need blockchain, but Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) absolutely does. 🌍✈️
Why? SAF certificates rely on blockchain to:
✅ Ensure transparency.
✅ Prevent double counting.
✅ Enable global book-and-claim systems.
The aviation fuel market (~450B liters annually) dwarfs SAF production (~600M liters in 2023). Yet SAF is set to grow from $1.25B today to $30B by 2030—one of the biggest RWA opportunities.
The two largest (in terms of partners) SAF book-and-claim systems - Shell’s Avelia and RMI’s SAFcRegistry - are powered by @energywebx ($EWT), with SAF retirements from BlackRock, Microsoft, United Airlines, and more already anchored on the Energy Web Chain.
