UPDATE ON BARRICADED SUBJECT AT WHOLE FOODS 22-year-old Rheanna Anderson was taken into custody after she peacefully surrendered following an extended standoff in the parking lot of the Whole Foods on Papermill Drive. KPD officers initially responded to the Whole Foods parking lot on a report of a domestic disturbance involving Anderson at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday evening. When officers first made contact with Anderson, she displayed a knife, refused officer commands and barricaded herself in her car. Crisis Negotiators and Special Operations Squad personnel were subsequently requested and responded to the scene. At approximately 6:20 p.m., after over an hour of negotiations, Anderson willingly exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without further issue. Anderson was evaluated on scene by AMR and transported to an area hospital for further medical evaluation. Upon her release, Anderson will be taken into custody for charges that include aggravated assault and stalking. We are grateful for the quick and careful response, courage and professionalism demonstrated by our Field Operations officers, Crisis Negotiators and Special Operations Squad.

UPDATE: Jackson Bacosa has been found safe. Thanks as always for helping to spread the word!
