We archivists keep records of facts and events across centuries. ICT changed the playing field but end-goal is same: maintain access to authentic and accurate information. In ICT-speak, #digipres maintains "data pipelines" between past and future to create a permanent "data lake"

If all our students submit their work using ChatGPT (and other AI apps), while we (as faculty) use automatic assessment marking, does that mean we can all just go outside and play, learn and create like we're supposed to in higher education, and let the machines fight it out?
