💧 I just won $10,000 SUI from @SuiNetwork.
500+ entries. They picked mine.
The article was about why Sui is building the financial layer that the internet always needed. I wrote it because I genuinely believe it, not because there was a prize.
Turns out that's exactly what they were looking for.
Thank you so much to everyone who congratulated me! I read every single one, and it meant a lot to me. Really appreciate it. Glad to share the moment with everyone 🙏
What am I doing with the $10,000?
Putting it into @Scallop_io first. Auto-compounding yield while I figure out the next move. No rush 🤣
I'm going to keep writing about Sui and the ecosystem the same way I always have. organic, honest, no fluff. And mostly, will be a loyal member of @SuiCommunity.
If that's what you're here for, stick around and follow me 😉
📘 @DeepBookonSui's latest teaser sent me back to GitHub.
I found a surprising prototype 👀
A separate devnet branch contains long/short markets with payouts that move with the final price.
Simple example: BTC between $80k and $90k. Maximum payout: $100.
BTC finishes at $82k:
Long gets $20. Short gets $80.
At $88k:
Long gets $80. Short gets $20.
Payouts stop at the boundaries. Profit depends on your entry cost and fees.
Unlike Predict's fixed payout for landing inside a range, this rewards HOW HIGH the final price finishes within the band.
The catch: it's experimental, unmerged, and there's no confirmation it explains today's teaser or adds $DEEP utility.
Still, I didn't expect this in the repo.
Would you trade this for Predict's fixed payouts?
📘 Two days ago, I asked when DeepBook Predict would return. Today, trading is live again.
The 20% fee discount is back, too.
Good to see the pause end. Now I want the missing piece: what caused it, and what changed before reopening?
A relaunch brings users back. A short postmortem would build trust.
@DeepBookonSui, can you share one?
📱 I wanted an iPhone Duo for five minutes.
I’ve used an OPPO Find N3, but today’s hands-on still gave me that wow moment. @SuiNetwork looked great on the unfolded screen.
Then I held it longer. It felt heavy, and the vertical controls on the right made the screen feel oddly narrow.
A new iPhone 18 Pro plus a used M4 iPad Pro can cost less and better overall than one Duo. That’s the setup I use, and I prefer it.
I’ll check the Duo again in 2–3 years. Which would you choose: the foldable or the two-device combo?
🗑️ Sui just cut a hidden fee by 100x. Why isn’t your wallet showing it?
Delete onchain data and Sui can refund part of its storage fee. In the latest @SuiNetwork mainnet release, the slice that never comes back fell from 1% to 0.01%.
For apps creating and clearing thousands of objects, that tiny difference adds up. For one user, it may be small. Total gas did NOT fall 100x.
Open one of your Sui transactions in an explorer. Can you spot the storage rebate? Reply with what your wallet shows.
🔑 2 keys. 1 Sui wallet. Either key can take everything.
Most people miss this: @SuiNetwork lets you change the key that controls your wallet without moving your SUI, NFTs or DeFi positions to a new address.
But if you ADD a second key rather than replacing the first, both can move all your assets alone. Imagine giving someone another house key when you only meant to give them access to one room.
That is a powerful feature with a serious risk.
Should wallets show a “FULL ACCESS” warning? Reply with the warning you would want to see.
₿ Next week could be huge for Sui.
@SuiNetwork says Hashi’s phased mainnet rollout begins by the end of October. $500M+ is already committed.
Now comes the part I actually care about: can regular users put real BTC to work on Sui?
Reply with the first app you want to try with hBTC.
₿ Hashi has $500M committed, but no $HASHI token.
@SuiNetwork's docs say it plainly: Hashi has no governance token, utility token, or airdrop. Deposit BTC, and the asset you get on Sui is hBTC.
So where could a BTC holder actually benefit?
The competition may happen in DeFi apps built around hBTC. A lender might offer incentives to attract BTC collateral. Another might offer cheaper borrowing or a better exit route.
Those are possibilities, not announced rewards.
The number I'd watch is net value after incentives, interest, fees, and liquidation risk. A flashy reward means little if borrowing costs more.
Which app's hBTC terms should I track first? Reply with its name.
🥽 Current gave me a title: “That Guy.” Can Season 3 take TVL to $200M?
Season 2 is over. The app says rewards will be airdropped soon, but gives no date 👀
Season 3 is already live on @CurrentSUI. Points can mint Goggles. Stake them to mine rewards. One detail worth reading first: staking burns the Goggles, so there is no undo button.
86,100 SUI + 5M CRT. That’s Current Season 3’s reward pool, running 123 days from Oct 22 to Feb 22.
Great meeting @Chrisrevault at Sui Basecamp. I’m curious what the team shares next, and whether real deposits follow the new season.
Who else is watching Current this round?
💧 Am I paying to farm SUI?
My 6.07x position on @CurrentSUI Multiply shows -2.39% Net APR.
I supplied haSUI and borrowed SUI. Here’s what my screen shows:
→ Supply APR: 2.6%
→ Borrow APR: 3.6%
→ Net APR: -2.39%
The borrowing cost is outweighing the yield in the app’s estimate.
More leverage gives you more assets earning yield. It also gives you more debt charging interest.
I love earning yield. Paying more to borrow than the position earns is a different story.
This is an annualized rate snapshot, not a 2.39% loss I’ve already taken.
My screen also shows 84% LTV against a 93% liquidation threshold. My LTV can move as debt and collateral values change.
Don’t stop checking after opening a position.
Check what’s left AFTER borrowing costs, and how close the position is to liquidation.
How often do you recheck the borrowing rate on an open position?
🤖 I got the SuiBall Robot NFT a long time ago. Where's the hardware wallet?
I still hold Robot #1900 (and actually the remaining 6 NFTs, totalling 7). It came with my early preorder, and I haven't sold it. But an NFT isn't the device I paid for.
Founder @moonrunner2088 says shipping is paused for new independent security audits that will take a few months. There is no new delivery date yet.
Safety checks make sense. After a year of waiting, repeated delays and long silence have cost me trust. I don't want to be locked into another open-ended wait.
@EmanAbio and @SuiNetwork publicly backed Suiball's preorder. Could you or someone else help buyers who want out get a clear, optional refund path?
🔵 I bought 7 SuiBalls. A year after preorders opened, there is still no delivery date.
Founder @moonrunner2088 says @suiballO’s account is suspended. Shipping is paused for fresh, independent security audits that may take a few months. The team plans a new name and features like Agent Pass, clear signing and Hashi support. Those are plans, not shipped features.
Auditing before shipping makes sense. I'm glad we finally got an update. But the repeated delays and long silence have cost me trust as an early buyer.
@EmanAbio and @SuiNetwork backed the preorder publicly. Could you help buyers get an optional refund, as @SuiPlay offered?
If the audits take longer, what then? And after they finish, what is the plan for delivery, customs and taxes or is it just like SuiPlay?
@moonmission88 says refund worked for him; you can check his post for how to do it if you use a credit card to pay.
Buyers deserve an official refund option!
🤖 $1K to $3K for showing up early? $AXIS made it!
I’m seeing @axisrobotics contributors share reported allocation values in that range after roughly 6 months of work. Some @KaitoAI creators report even more.
That is not everyone’s result, and an allocation is not cash already received. But it is refreshing to see early supporters rewarded for contributing to a real product.
Congrats to the team and everyone who earned a share. Airdrops aren’t dead 😤
What other project has actually rewarded its early users this well?
🏹 @arcus_xyz Season 2 Week 3 points just dropped!
How did everyone do this week?
Here's mine 👇
Not stopping here, though. Going for a bigger score in Week 4 😤
Curious where I stand compared to everyone else still grinding Arcus

🔵 SuiBall's update came from a DM screenshot, not @suiballO. That's wild.
On Aug 11, SuiBall said shipping-confirmation emails would start in early September. Its account has not posted a progress update since.
On Oct 16, @wojack_x shared a screenshot attributed to @EmanAbio: the founder is finalizing a hardware audit. Adeniyi also said @Mysten_Labs did not build the product.
Auditing hardware before shipping is the right call. Leaving buyers to learn that from someone else's DM isn't.
@suiballO, when will buyers get an official timeline?

🪂 ~$2.2 per @perpltrade point.
That’s where my Week 11 farm is sitting right now across these accounts:
→ 166.4 total points
→ ~$2.2 cost per point
Honestly, I’m pretty happy with that efficiency so far.
The question now is whether I can keep the cost around this level as competition gets harder.
Running the same farm for another week.
Anyone getting below $2/point?

🤯 40M+ TPS. $500M+ committed. Up to 82M devices.
That was only part of Sui Basecamp 2026.
Across 2 days:
→ CCTP V2 went live
→ Sui Agent Pass, Warrant, Rooms
→ Post-quantum accounts coming to devnet
→ @datafdn → Sui + @WalrusProtocol
→ Sui Threat Intelligence
→ Hashi→ $500M+ committed
→ @WalrusProtocol Console
→ 40M+ TPS
Then add Samsung Wallet, @alibaba_cloud and @googlecloud.
My biggest takeaway?
@SuiNetwork isn’t just trying to build a faster blockchain anymore.
Money. Data. Agents. Security. Distribution.
They’re trying to connect the entire stack.
Which Basecamp announcement will matter most a year from now? 👀

📘 DeepBook Predict was paused on Sep 30. I checked again today. Same banner.
Predict trading is still paused on-chain. Spot, deposits and withdrawals still work.
That distinction matters. DeepBook isn't down. But after 19 days, people waiting for Predict deserve more than “soon.”
@DeepBookonSui, what remains to be fixed, and when can Predict return?
Reply with the one answer you want before it reopens.

Your Scallop positions, right in your wallet.
Check what you’ve supplied, what you’ve borrowed, and the health of each obligation, directly in the Scallop Wallet browser extension.
🤖 Imagine your AI agent spends $1,000. You only approved $100. That’s a scary gap.
A payment receipt proves money moved. It does not prove the agent had permission.
@Mysten_Labs and @googlecloud are building Verifiable Agent Arbiter to record the permission, the action, and the outcome. Its proof would be stored on @WalrusProtocol and coordinated on @SuiNetwork.
It is still in development. But this is the AI question I care about: can you prove an agent stayed within its limits?
Reply with the one rule you would set before letting an agent spend your money.

It is October 3. The shocking part: @suiballO (from @citadelwallet)has posted no public progress update since August 11.
Back then, the team said its first batch was almost finished.
The silence is worrying, but it does not prove anything is wrong. Buyers need answers to 3 simple questions:
→ Did the emails go out?
→ Is the first batch complete?
→ When will orders ship?
If you pre-ordered, reply with whether you received a confirmation email. No order details needed.
A short update from the team would do more for trust than another teaser.

💧SCALLOP INCENTIVE PROGRAM💧
Weekly Scallop incentives have been refreshed!
Don't miss out on up to 4x Borrow Reward APR boost by staking SCA!
🐚sSCA Incentives: ~346,000 sSCA
Start earning with Scallop today: app.scallop.io
🐚 An 8% APR can be a worse deal than 6%.
Those numbers are an example, not today's live rates. The point is what sits behind them.
Before supplying a coin on Sui, I'd check 3 things:
1. How much comes from rewards that can change?
2. How much liquidity is available if I want out?
3. What collateral rules apply if I borrow against it?
@Scallop_io's new Wallet puts rates, rewards, utilisation and collateral weight side by side. It also shows available liquidity in Scallop's own markets.
That makes it a better research screen than an APR leaderboard. It does not make a position safe.
Which of those 3 checks has saved you from a bad deposit?
🐚 Why use @Scallop_io Wallet instead of @SlushWallet?
Imagine your wallet shows $1,000 in assets while your DeFi loan is moving closer to liquidation. The balance alone won’t warn you.
Slush already handles my everyday Sui wallet needs. Scallop’s new wallet has a different job: show my supply, borrow and position health, then compare lending rates across @SuiNetwork before I make the next move.
That’s useful if I borrow often. If I don’t, I have no reason to switch.
It’s early access. Would a built-in view of your loan risk make you add a second wallet?

🚦 DeepBook is not down. Spot is live. Predict is being fine-tuned!
@DeepBookonSui says its real-money mainnet alpha found rough edges in Predict. The team also says no user funds were lost and Spot remains unaffected.
2 products, 2 statuses:
✅ Spot: the onchain order book remains available. A limit order lets you set your price, though it might not fill.
🧪 Predict: the team is fine-tuning it before reopening. No new date has been announced.
So the Predict delay is not a DeepBook-wide outage. If you opened the app for Spot, that distinction matters.
Which product were you trying to use? Reply: Spot or Predict.
🔑 An app gives you a .sui name. Can it take it back?
Surprisingly, yes. It depends on which of @SuiNSdapp's 2 subname types you get.
→ Leaf: the app controls the name. It can change the wallet the name points to or revoke it. You don't receive an ownership NFT.
→ Node: you hold an NFT for the name. You can change its linked wallet or transfer it. The parent can't revoke it before expiry.
There's another catch: if the parent .sui name expires, both types stop resolving until it is renewed.
Before putting a community name in your bio or asking someone to send funds to it, I'd check who controls it and where it points.
A readable name is useful. Knowing who can change it matters more.
Would you use an app-controlled name as your main wallet identity? Reply with your reason.
😭 I just paid to keep 116.sui for another year
It's part of the @SuiNSdapp 1K Club.
And yeah... renewing these names isn't exactly cheap.
But I couldn't let 116 go.
Partly because I still like owning a piece of SuiNS history.
Partly because renewing supports SuiNS, while the $NS used for the renewal gets burned.
So 116.sui stays with me for another year
1K Club holders, are you renewing yours too?
Drop your number below.
🤖 Mysten is going all in on AI. I hope Sui doesn't forget humans.
@EvanWeb3 is stepping into a new role leading @Mysten_Labs' dedicated AI unit. Its work will be anchored to @SuiNetwork and @WalrusProtocol. That's a serious bet on the next era, not just another fast L1.
But I worry about a chain that wins the AI infrastructure race while retail users quietly leave Sui.
My 3 asks:
→ Deeper liquidity. Even one-third of @solana's DeFi liquidity would change what users can do here.
→ Apps outside DeFi that I'd open again tomorrow.
→ Airdrops that reward real users and leave a community behind after claim day, not just a week of farming.
Great tech gets attention. Useful apps and die-hard users make people stay.
What would make you use Sui every day, even without an airdrop? Reply with one thing.
💧 @SuiNetwork built the rails for machines.
The open question: can it deliver to humans?
My full Sui Basecamp 2026 recap, from 40M TPS live on stage to Samsung Wallet, Hashi, Agent Pass and what I'll verify next.
🔐 The scariest part of a wallet security upgrade might be moving your money first.
Imagine holding SUI, haSUI, sCoins and an open DeFi position. “Make a new wallet” could mean moving assets, untangling positions and hoping nothing goes wrong.
@SuiNetwork already has the key-rotation mechanism. The shocking part is how little the account itself has to change: keep the address, change the key allowed to sign for it.
That mechanism, called address aliases, is already live. Sui plans to use it when quantum-safe account signing arrives, so assets can stay where they are while the lock changes.
The quantum-safe signing rollout is still ahead: Mainnet is targeted for Q1 2027, subject to audits and testing. No one needs to migrate today.
The win isn't a scary new algorithm. It's a security upgrade that doesn't make users rebuild their financial life.
Would you trust a wallet to handle that switch, or check every step yourself?
₿ 1 BTC position. 2 locks. @SuiNetwork is already testing an upgrade for one of them.
@kostascrypto showed a quantum-safe transaction on Sui Devnet. @EmanAbio says a BTC-related transaction is next.
Why I find this bullish: a BTC holder using Sui DeFi also needs to protect the Sui account controlling that position. Sui’s address aliases are designed to let that account change its signing key without moving every asset or changing its address.
Bitcoin is a separate lock. This does not make native BTC quantum-safe, and the Sui proof is on Devnet, not Mainnet.
Would you rather replace your wallet key or move every position to a new address?
