Great reminder for the New Year from James Clear: "New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results."
Had an amazing time today with middle school students from local Japanese and American DoDEA schools on #Okinawa for a super fun student cultural exchange event—a photo scavenger hunt through Chatan-town’s American Village. #chatan2023psh #scavengerhunt

It’s the first time in almost 30 years that I jogged this far/long without having to stop and walk. It’s still a pretty slow pace (I think a few turtles lapped me), but I’m making progress!
Having way more fun at Okuma Recreation Center in Northern Okinawa over President’s Day weekend than any one person ought to be allowed!
Finishing up my online e-learning “Night Dive” section of the PADI Advanced Open Water course while watching an Okinawan sunset from my rooftop porch in preparation for my first-ever night dive tomorrow. A little scared, not going to lie, but also excited!
Super excited about NaCoMe's "Flow to the Future" campaign, and honored to have been able to share some thoughts here: facebook.com/willpenner/post…

My niece Veronica (Roni) Barnard, was in a terrible automobile accident last week, and she is now brain-dead. Please pray for her family members, especially her four children, who are mourning her loss. Lord, have mercy.
Atomic Habits author James Clear shared a great quote in his 3-2-1 Newsletter today from The Summer of the Great-Grandmother, written by Madeline L’Engle, author of 60 books: "Inspiration usually comes during work, rather than before it."
Happy National Airborne Day!
On August 16, 1940, the first official @USArmy parachute jump was executed. Now known as #NationalAirborneDay, this significantly changed the way the Army executed critical missions from WWII to present-day conflicts. @82ndABNDiv @101stAASLTDIV @173rdAbnBde @11thAirborneDiv
