"People are frustrated, people are broke, and people are tired. And they're tired of getting f****d over by every company, and every government, and every place they work at. It's going to come crashing down whether you like it or not." youtube.com/watch?v=4P0U--k-…

This one really got to me. John Anderson is one of my all time favorite singers and writers. His voice and writing style were completely unique and one-of-a-kind. countrynow.com/country-music…

I spent the morning patching PHP on websites and making sure the hosted sites had patched it on their end. I hope this is enough. 😬

It feels weird being in the DFW area and not playing a gig. I guess it's still music related since I'm going to the Amigo Guitar Show in Mesquite.

I really don't understand the hate towards James Hetfield right now. I know I don't want to go to a concert and hear a political rant from an artist. I don't care if they are Republican or Democrat. It puts me off to the point of never wanting to listen to that artist again.

Yet, this dumpy SOB globe trots his fat ass all over the planet in a private plane. The hypocrisy of these elites has to be stopped.
Aviation is one of the hardest parts of the economy to decarbonize.

I watched the new Resident Evil movie. Has anyone involved in making this movie ever played a Resident Evil game, primarily the first two games?

I used to make fun of my grandpa for being a loud sneezer. I was convinced he could curb it. Now that I'm in my 50s I'm a loud sneezer and I cannot control it even though it embarrasses me death.

Goddamnit we live in a loud world that's only getting louder. Dumber, more self centered, and loud.

Innovation is great, unless is comes at the expense of humanity.

Closed source software is doomed. Adobe, Apple, Microsoft, Sony, and many others are going to start feeling the pinch really soon. One good thing about AI as it is making it possible to finally render the egregious and greedy closed source software world obsolete.

I'm trying to explain to my spouse that she's not "getting a great deal" by shopping on Amazon Prime Deal Days. You're not saving money, you're spending money. A "great deal" is leaving your money in your account.

The subscription business model failed to suck me in and pushed me to alternatives that were not based on greed. The most disgusting of all subscriptions for music or for subs for vehicle amenities, such as heated seats. Adobe and Microsoft, you suck too!

Nothing makes me happier than seeing human beings on a stage playing actual instruments, with no backing tracks, no iPads, and no vocal pitch correction. If anyone has ever watched a good Western Swing band live, you'll finally understand how AI could never replace that.

I use 3 different Linux distros and Wayland craps out after about 6 months. Xlibre seems to be just fine.

Well, yeah.
I might be a little less distrustful of AI if the dudes promoting it, supporting it, insisting on it, and advocating for it weren’t the worst fucking people on the planet.

Have you ever tossed a piece of food off the side of a dock and then 15,000 carp swarm to the top of the water and start following beside you and lashing about as you walk? That's what it's like when you disagree with one AI music bro.

I will not eat at any restaurant that has TVs in it. When I go out for dinner I'm looking to eat in a peaceful, calm, quiet, atmosphere where I can enjoy undistracted time with my loved ones over a meal that was prepared by people whose focus is on a good dining experience.
