Many legislative proposals now that focus on the topics we've been discussing including on building greater access and participation; advisors will have to keep up #DEI #ESG #retirementincome #BPRORetirement

I think the gradual increase in comfort and flexibility of #PEPs will be a large change agent. Reduced cost as they grow, professional #fiduciaries, guardrails for Sponsors. #BPRORetirement

Both #ESG and #Lifetimeincome will grow albeit slowly. The industry needs to take a educatoinal approach on both. Avoid stigmas. #401k #BProretirement

88% of Americans very worried about inflation and will cutback on spending per Nov. '21 study via @LorieKonish. Thoughts for participants: stay the course and not cut #retirement plan contributions; cut short-term spending instead. #401k #BPRORetirement

Sponsor thoughts gravitate more toward access, support, education, and promotion of our entire benefits package. We found there’s still work to be done to ensure all have the ability to participate. Healthcare has a ways to go to ensure inclusivity is inherent. #BPRORetirement

Plan sponsor turnover! Great resignation is leaving plan advisors to train constantly changing HR staff and new plan fiduciaries. Turnover also means new participants for advisors that host enrollment meetings. #GreatResignation #BPRORetirement

This is very true. Sometimes something with immediate and tangible value has a more positive impact, even if the value is relatively modest, than a more complicated and involved initiative that requires employee education and requires them to take some kind of action.
I'll be very curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this. Always a fan of the crystal ball questions. #BPROOpenEnrollment
Q7: What can employers do now, or do differently in the coming year, to set the stage for a better enrollment next year?

Employees are more interested in holistic wellbeing now more than ever. Physical, emotional, social and financial wellbeing are the needs of employees today. These needs have transferred to employers having to be able to be fluid with benefits that support these needs.
This is something I'm hearing about more and more often. At a certain point, enough is enough and it's time to consider new ideas. #BPROOpenEnrollment

Companies that have sustained their cash flow have been less receptive to new ideas #changefatigue, while companies that have had their bottom line severely impacted, are much more willing to look at new cost-saving strategies. #BPROOpenEnrollment

One thing we've been hearing a lot... how employers responded to the pandemic and communicated with employees has had a major impact on employees' willingness to continue working at a company. No doubt this will continue being a major factor! #BPROOpenEnrollment
Q5: How has employers’ receptiveness and willingness to try out new benefits and health care strategies been affected?
#BPROOpenEnrollment
Something tells me a tweet might not be long enough for this answer... #BPROOpenEnrollment
Q3: What new challenges will come up this year? What concerns are you hearing from employers/clients?
