Very depressing seeing the online banters between SEA the past couple of weeks have morphed from Singaporeans and Malaysians being angry at Indonesians for the forest fires to them realizing Indonesians are not in a good place (both mentally and geographically) right now.

Congrats to Alex von Stange, the champion of Magic Spotlight: Fracture! His mastery of the Jund Sacrifice deck led him to a finals victory over Connor Ott's Jeskai Artifacts to win #SpotlightFRA!

Indonesian police have fired water cannon at protesters in Borneo who were rallying against toxic haze caused by the worst forest fires in over a decade. Demonstrations have taken place across the country.

I am today years old knowing people have problem with pile shuffling? Last time I didn’t do this I got game losses because I forgot to shuffle my cards from exile/one of them fell from the table… At this point, it’s a ritual for me to pile shuffle at the start of every game!
kay@kayharukawasOct 21
anybody who pile shuffles at the start of a round "i wanna make sure all my cards are there" then do it at the end of your last round? "i need to declump my cards" just tell me youre trying to cheat yes i can shuffle cut your deck and negate this. doesn't make it less annoying

I did win the $1000 promo
Winston Chamora@winstonchamoraOct 18
Replying to @ineedmoreQPs @KLVR_80 @fireshoes
We only have 6 invites each RC, and x-2 cant make top8 anymore. Rather spend the day trying to win the $1000 Slasher promo.

6-0-2 at the SEA Regional Championship with Broodscale. Sadly, lost in the Top 8 as the deck did not cooperate today. Still, happy with the run.

Didn’t do too well in the RC, 3-2 dropped. This decklist is super strong, putting 1 person in top8 (Calvin Chen) and 1 person in top16 (@KLVR_80). I think this is the best way to build this archetype, and I’m glad the deck performs really well! On to the worlds now :) @fireshoes

Jumping on the lands discourse… Magic’s land system is imo the greatest element of the game, and add considerable depth to the gameplay. Lands force you to consider tradeoffs within deckbuilding and gameplay. 1/X

There's no way that people ACTUALLY thing the salvageable thing about Magic is the resource system, right? The resource system in Magic is the TEXTBOOK, SQUARE ONE thing that other games look at and go "How can we improve upon this to remove it from our game?" There are PLENTY of things to look at Magic for and to go, "Aw, man. This game is sick because of ___ that doesn't convert well in other games" BUT THE RESOURCE SYSTEM? C'mon bro. Sleeved up my deck, and I’m ready for the Regional Championship that’s happening this weekend here in Singapore! As always, thank you @UltimateGuard Indonesia by Animart for sponsoring my needs of sleeve, deck boxes, and playmat! Has always been a Katana believer since day 1!

Eyyyyy it's time for another RC recap. The best RC so far. By far. If you want to learn about my and @nekropolisz's incredible journey with Rakdos Delirium give it a read. We will NOT be writing a guide. docs.google.com/document/d/1…

RC Delirium

I was not going to come to Ghent but the closer it was to the event the more fomo I was getting and I decided to come about 2 weeks ago. Being a father to a 6 month old girl is amazing but it doesn't...

I’m blaming whoever asks for Phlage ban.
Andrea Mengucci
@Mengu09Oct 12
Today is the day. Please, WotC, do something about Modern. Either unban 3 cards or ban some Eldrazi related cards. Don’t let this opportunity slip away just because there are still a few RCs left to play. I’m sure the players competing in those events would love to see their format fixed, too. #MTGModern
