And it is all South Africans... they already know if Africa was ever considered, it would be them, Egypt, or Morocco, but they completely ignore the logistics: 1. BTS travels with an entourage of over 100+ crew members (techs, dancers, stylists, security). The sheer cost of flights and lodging to move a team that large all the way down is astronomical. 2. Even South American promoters struggled to import the exact heavy stage setups used in the US/EU due to massive shipping distances. Now imagine moving that weight across continents. 3. Most African currencies, including the South African Rand, Egyptian Pound, and Moroccan Dirham have weaker exchange rates compared to the US Dollar, Euro, or Pound. Local promoters have to price tickets carefully so local fans can actually afford them, meaning a production of this massive scale would end up losing more money than the concert could ever bring in.
