Big windows, green trees My strategic policy Home away from home -Trong Nguyen

Hanging out with the Nara deer. I love Japan so much. Just got back from a short, fun trip to Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto. Feeling happy.

I give a few bucks to a guy hanging on the street. We fist bump and he says ‘thanks Tom Green’. Only similarity is age and shaggy beard. With @tomgreenlive on my mind I watched his new doc. I laughed hard but also felt deeply sad for a time gone that will never return. So good.

Hey folks. I lived in Toronto during university and loved the outdoor pool at Christie Pits on hot summer nights. We don’t have one downtown Ottawa. Lots of families living here would benefit. If you agree fill in the survey and say “add outdoor pool please”. @ArielTroster

After having bad luck with vegan cookies I made some vegan muffins with some bananas that needed using. They taste great.

I’m spending my Canada day listening to Rush and hoping to win a chance to buy a pair of Terry Fox sneakers. He sums up what I love about this country. Happy Canada day.

Yesterday I had my first sit down restaurant meal since Covid started. It was a fairly non-descript burger on a non-descript patio at a non-descript pub. It was awesome!

One of my main comforts these days is music. I was sad when my tube amp broke with no place open to fix it. A neighbour, who I’ve known for years, (but not well) took it home and fixed it for me. So I’m adding great neighbours as a source of comfort not to take for granted.
