Big Shots Spotlight! Chase Johnson 6’0 2027 (Landstown HS/Team Loaded 757) Chase can score it from all areas. Uses screens nicely, his footwork and shot mechanics are solid. A threat from beyond the arc with the jumper but is so effective attacking a closeout or working off the bounce into a near automatic dribble pull-up. His execution shooting off the dribble is textbook and he is extremely efficient. Chase also does a nice job breaking his man down off the bounce, uses sweeping crossovers but also breaks off a low and quick, knee buckling crossover in addition to behind the back and between the legs dribbles and has a nice burst and blow by ability. Compliments a crafty handle playing off hesitations effectively. He can hit the step back and his touch in traffic or scoring over length is fantastic. He can finish with either hand at the rim. Protects the basketball nicely in traffic. Solid at either guard position and will be key on one of the states better backcourts at Landstown High School. #BigShots #NSUTeamCamp @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
