140 Covid+ inpatients, lost 6 patients yesterday and a total of 22 in the last 7 days. It appears that many schools, especially those that don’t require masking, are entering a crisis point, in some cases, too many sick teachers to keep schools open.

I spent much of last week on Zooms with teachers around the country. Amazed. They are providing comfort & stability and motivation to our kids, trouble-shooting tech, reading virtual bedtime stories, juggling childcare, adapting, pivoting, inspiring. As always they are pillars
