Excited to finally share a long-awaited public demo of full computer cursor control from brain signals, in a @neuralink style demo, but entirely non-invasive. No surgery, implants, or eye-tracking.
This is Atlasβ’, our non-invasive brain-computer interface platform @SynaptrixAI, made possible by treating EEG decoding as a frontier AI problem and investing deeply in the models, data, and hardware needed to push it forward.
Our capabilities at Synaptrix have progressed dramatically over the past year, and we are reaching a point where I believe our non-invasive systems will approach the capabilities of implanted BCIs very soon.
The goal for Atlasβ’ is much bigger than cursor control. We are building toward restoring communication and mobility for people with severe disabilities, from computer access and wheelchair control to prosthetic arms, legs, and all other assistive systems.
No implants or surgery. Just the brain controlling machines. Disability will become a solved problem!

Early Velastra Systems mesh plumbing: local workstation, edge AI node, memory service node, and an offline inference node, with a kubectl inspired cli.
I think AI eliminates a lot of the make belief jobs that have been created in the last 10-15 years, and then creates a tons of new ones...
Moving my library to self hosted was a good decision, also for the techies out there , if you have not heard of @humble you really need to check them out. Thank me later, been buying books from them for years!
My codex setup at home is way better than what I have for work. I got 2 memory systems that are hosted on my proxmox server and a few mcp services that make coding task far less prone to halucinate. Considering releasing open source versions of each.
Finally, business site is up and running! wissamyoussef.com

I didnβt expect a Trash Can to teach me about Innovation
I just watched an AI-powered trash can catch garbage in mid-airβ¦ and Iβm still processing it.
Created by HTX Studio, it tracks your throw, rolls into position, and catches it perfectly. Some even mop the floor β or shoot foam darts if you miss.
When full? It seals the bag, replaces it, drives to the main bin, and recharges itself. No pause. No complaint.
It made me smile.
Not because we need a robot bin⦠but because it shows how far creativity can go when powered by AI.
Weβre already adding AI to our cars, kitchens, calendars β and now our trash cans.
β¨ So Iβm curiousβ¦ are we being innovative, or just playful with tech?
Where do you draw the line?

Porcospino Flex: A bio-inspired single-track robot built to squeeze and grip through confined spaces
Two things stand out in particular:
For the development of robotics, it is essential to look to the animal kingdom for inspiration.
Creativity is crucial for discovering new use cases.
