Iโm gonna be real the main thing that pisses me off is that the hellaverse is how male centric it is despite us in both shows having at least 2 central women as main characters and yet all of the focus is out on the men of the show or how the men in these womenโs lives will-
React to X thing, hell, your main show is about a sapphic couple and yet it seems like a lot of the focus is given to 4-5 other male characters. Look at how Helluva focuses so heavily on a relationship between 2 men, showing a lot of emotional and sexual content
Frankly the ME trilogy blaster its way to my top 3 games of all time and the final mission of ME2 is one of the reasons. It was so stressful, but I remembered all the conversations I had with my crew, and chose perfectly for each task. Made it through blind with no deaths
Reminder that Mass Effect 2 rewards you for actually paying attention to your companions and I desperately want more RPGs to trust the player like this.
At one point, Mordin tells Shepard:
"Hold the line! Personally prefer to get job done and go home."
It's a throwaway line, only uttered if you dive a little deeper into his history. But it tells you something important about him.
When you reach the Suicide Mission.
Someone needs to Hold the Line.
And Mordin is one of the WORST squadmates you can leave behind to do it.
The game doesn't flash up:

Itโs interesting to me how blasters work in Star Wars. Because at some point they clearly ran into the issue of โwe still need ammo rules for our sci fi weaponsโ and the solution is that most blasters runs off some variation of gas. So thereโs still a physical ammunition
This is why the raimi trilogy is still so fun to watch, why people love the train scene in SM2, and why superman was a breath of fresh air
