I got to see lots of old friends today and it was so sweet. God is doing so many good things.

Oh my goodness. You Can See Everything was incredible and also the most stressful thing I've ever seen. Also be warned there's a short moment of nudity that I understand what they were trying to communicate but also maybe they could have done that differently.

We dropped the kids off at my parents' house and now we're going on a bonafide DATE. Dinner and a movie, baby.

Today I also got to see the L&D nurse who helped me with Shamgar. When labor stalled we just started talking about theology because we discovered she went to Stephen's church. And then at one point she was like "Okay are we having a baby or not." And then I had the OB break my water and 2 hours later Sham was born. Anyway. Dawn was amazing and I was so glad to see her again.

I plugged my sewing machine in. I am very excited to make my sewing room beautiful. Maybe this winter I can make it happen.

God didn't have to make birch trees, but He did anyway.

Kyle and the other men from his seminary cohort are going to be the pallbearers and I just can't even think about it.

These little fall cookie cutters are very silly and very cute. I'm impressed with the kids' piping skills too.

Because dinner is already made, I mixed up some sugar cookies to cut out later.

Oh I just hate death so much.

I just assembled a pan of stuffed peppers for dinner tomorrow and I am so excited for future Whitney to not have that on her plate.

The shoes I ordered off Amazon fit and are so cute and just the right amount of heel.

5/6 funeral outfits have been acquired/planned.

I squeezed a 25 minute strength workout in while dinner finished cooking.
