Really pleased to see this, for the whole @ThePCCLondon team & supporters.
When I was Cabinet Member for Culture in Westminster Council, we were clear we’d do all we could to help save the PCC - and I was pleased to help it become an Asset of Community Value with @w9maidavale.

Great news for Westminster 🌹
I'm determined to build a safer London for everyone.
In Westminster, overall crime has fallen by 17% over the last year, including major reductions in theft and robbery after we provided record funding for the police from City Hall.
But we won’t let up. We'll keep working with the Met and local partners to drive crime down.

ALT Infographic titled “Crime is down in Westminster.” The graphic states that overall offences across Westminster have fallen by 17%, with significant reductions in theft and robbery. A bar chart shows three categories of crime reduction over the 12 months to August 2026 compared with the previous 12 months: theft from the person is 42% lower, robbery of personal property is 33% lower, and theft from a vehicle is 37% lower. Harrow Road Labour councillors save residents hundreds of pounds in wrongly issued parking fines.
This is what local Labour councillors do: listen when residents say something is wrong and don’t back down until it is put right.

Very surprised to see these worrying comments from @Leader_WCC. When I was Cabinet Member for Culture in Westminster, I always thought we had cross-part consensus on the importance of the West End & our creative industries.
WEL showcases that & has a direct positive local impact

🎭 “Westminster declared the creative industries a priority for economic growth. Threatening one of the biggest showcases for those industries a few weeks later makes no sense. Labour will campaign to make sure the show goes on.” says @w9maidavale
