I don’t think a lot of people realise just how quickly university debts have risen in recent years
In 2005-06 the avge HECS debt for people in their 20s was $12,557.
Inflation since then has risen 57%, but the avge debt has gone up 145%.
That's $11,200 of extra debt now compared to then - and it will only get worse.

Israel waits until an AI-identified target is at home with his family before striking, killing everyone in the building (with no effort to check whether the AI was even correct). Any country sending arms to Israel at this point is a similarly rogue nation.
A while ago, I broke contact with some friends who were parroting JKR's transphobic screeds wholesale, after trying to explain why they were transphobic and wrong.
I hope they've learnt since then, given how JKR continues to downspiral, but, well...

LLMs can summarize, take notes, analyze, assist. Generated images and videos take away creativity. I also don’t want AI generated novels. AI should do the work of toil, not the work of creatives.
