Diary of a cat servant: Some times a #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shift can be exhausting. 🦎

Today is World Wombat Day and there are many ways to celebrate e.g. look at wombat clips & photos, eat carrots. I chose to give a few dollars to this group who are building a retirement home for wombats who cannot be released. wombatawareness.com/

Diary of a cat servant: Today is a cause for celebration in this home. Ella turns 15. My wonderful girl has brought me so much fun, love and companionship and I am grateful for her presence every single day. Anyone else think she deserves celebrating?

A change of topic. Today is the 111th anniversary of the birth of the only person I have known who has had an international airport named after her. Nancy Bird Walton was a lovely lady who was patient and kind. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_…

Diary of a cat servant: Every single day Ella wants to go into our common garden to find grass to eat. I have grown cat grass and she couldn't be less interested. So even on a damp night off we set to find some.

Anyone up for a boop or two #WombatWednesday friends? @millyfromoz @Miezebiene @madridnantes @PuddlesO @kirstym53 @scruffkit @JoyceTurkington @AmbassacatBXL @Eliot01375004

Diary of a cat servant: The #KittyLoafMonday question today is less "what is a kitty loaf" and more "is one Ella really enough?".

Diary of a cat servant: Ella is doing a #Hedgewatch FAB shift and is taking the same attitude to the noisy birds bothering her as the gnome behind her does.

Wombats are not just cute and cuddly. Particularly if you steal their food. #WombatWednesday @millyfromoz @Miezebiene @madridnantes @PuddlesO @kirstym53 @scruffkit @JoyceTurkington @AmbassacatBXL @Eliot01375004 youtu.be/Sr_X4rEw4Q0?si=rPj8…

Diary of a cat servant: I asked Ella if she would not mind being adorable for a photo and she told me she was too busy on a #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shift. Such a pity.

Diary of a cat servant: A #FlashbackFriday to this moment Ella was struggling to get comfortable. 😉

Diary of a cat servant: Today's #ThrowbackThursday is to last summer when Ella got to spend her #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shift with her beloved pavers.

Look, when you are hungry and you know where the snacks are kept, what are you going to do #WombatWednesday friends? 🤷‍♀️ @millyfromoz @Miezebiene @madridnantes @PuddlesO @kirstym53 @scruffkit @JoyceTurkington @AmbassacatBXL @Eliot01375004

Diary of a cat servant: I swear that there is a cat in there!

Diary of a cat servant: Why did you take a photo of my reflection instead of me Wombat? Well Ella nothing is better guaranteed to make you move when I need you still than me trying to get closer for a photo. #Hedgewatch DUVET shift.

Diary of a cat servant: Today's #FlashbackFriday is to a summer's day two years ago when Ella enjoyed a relaxing #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shift. And yes, that is a very impressive primordial pouch.

Diary of a cat servant: A nap is always more relaxing when someone has your back hey, Ella?
