Disabled people are not lesser or inferior.
Disabled people are approximately 25% of humanity.
There are no lesser or inferior humans.

When road crews show zero common sense, cyclists needn’t be surprised when they find pedestrians walking in the cycle track on a bend with no visibility. Owing to the kerb, pedestrians using wheelchairs are forced to turn around & go back. #AccessFail #SafetyFail

Went to Oxford Street to try out the pedestrian zone. Oh dear. Accessibility? Nah yet again.

Discrimination against disabled people isn’t benign or reasonable.
Ableism is devaluing and dehumanizing.

Oh how the youth have changed. These lads talk about the importance of having a good suit in the 1950s. Their overall demeanour speaks volumes as to how the working-class understood the importance of personal, and cultural maintenance.

"As for why I run red lights, the main reason is that I like to settle into a flow when I’m cycling – ideally to cycle from home to work without stopping once. It’s not that I’m trying to save time. It’s more that it’s tedious to grind to a halt, wait around glumly, then start from scratch again once the light has gone green."

Disabled people can now report media coverage that scapegoats and stigmatises them and contributes to the hostile environment many of them face in their daily lives, thanks to a new campaign.

Yet again another bus no show 12.30 number 2 from foxhill disappered from app , 12.19 didn’t come past either . How are we supposed to drive less if buses just don’t come 😬@Wera_Hobhouse
Making driving more difficult, costly & awkward in the hope of encouraging modal shift only works if the public transport is affordable & reliable. Which it really isn’t in Bath & hasn’t been for ages now infact I’d say it’s worse than ever atm 🤷♀️
Good buses are proven to reduce car use , not bike lanes, not LTN’s but buses. Which in Bath are ina dire state not being helped by narrowing arterial rds, more LTN’s or the amount of roadworks everywhere. Sort the buses out please 🙏 @bathnesld @BathNESGreens @BathLabour
