You remember this, Mikey? @SenMikeLee
10 years ago today
GOP Sen. Mike Lee: “If anyone spoke to my wife, or my daughter, or my mother, or any of my five sisters, the way Mr. Trump has spoken to women, I wouldn’t hire that person, wouldn’t want to be associated with that person, and I certainly don’t think I’d be comfortable hiring that person to be the leader of the free world.”
Here at "48 Minutes" we are getting you ready for the NBA season with our 2-a-day team previews. As for the @DetroitPistons, while they will still contend, did they do enough in the offseason to keep up in the East?
Listen to @PureHoopsBruce, @RossGeiger and myself each week.

Hey, remember when Fauci privately told a reporter on Feb 7th 2020 that Covid was "more deadly than even your strenuous flus... This is deadly stuff" but then told a public press conference on Feb 27th 2020: "This is a flu. This is like a flu"?
Oh wait! That was... Donald Trump.
While we were without our co-host @PureHoopsBruce, @RossGeiger and I continued on with the "48 Minutes" podcast by @BleavNetwork.
Among the many items discussed in this offseason edition of the show was the absurd contract the Bucks handed out to veteran Gary Trent Jr.
Tell the truth, @BaxFootballGuru ... Derek Jeter became your favorite baseball player of all time after this exchange, right?
The hits just keep on coming from this group, don’t they @BaxFootballGuru ?
Well-known NBA expert, Colin Cowherd gives credit to Daryl Morey for being aggressive in acquiring Jaylen Brown
Unfortunately for Colin, he was unaware that the Philadelphia 76ers fired Daryl Morey nearly 2 months ago…….

On the latest "48 Minutes" podcast episode by @BleavNetwork with @PureHoopsBruce, @RossGeiger and guest @jd3hoops of @strictlybball, I gave my thoughts on which player should be the next to have his number retired by @nyknicks.
Spoiler alert: It wasn't Jalen Brunson.
Recognize anyone in here @PureHoops_Bruce @RossGeiger ?
Salute to @MarkJonesESPN who works his final ESPN assignment today - Magic vs. Celtics (6p ET, ESPN) - after an incredible 36-year run.
Best known for his work on NBA and college football, Mark's been with ESPN since 1990 - one of our longest-tenured voices. Wish him well.

Retired 4-Star Navy Admiral and former Navy SEAL William McRaven on Donald Trump: "Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation."
RETWEET if you stand with Admiral McRaven!
Gee, Mr. @Hiddenwallet it got awfully quiet there.
I wonder why? 🤔
Always nice that this site can allow the ignorant, like @KhiMVP to have a voice.
On the latest "48 Minutes" podcast, @PureHoops_Bruce, @RossGeiger and I reviewed All-Star weekend & asked the question which team had a better chance to reach the NBA Finals, OKC or DET?
Here's my answer. Check us out each week at @BleavNetwork or wherever you follow podcasts.
