If you've been vaccinated elsewhere, it's good to deactivate your account so APH knows how many people are truly waiting. But I'm skeptical many people will actually do this. They probably signed up in a lot of different places.
Replying to @ojaldridge
On April 1, Austin Public Health said 285K people in the 1A, 1B, 1C and school/childcare worker groups were awaiting vaccines from APH. The vacant appointments call that number into question. Now APH is asking people to deactivate accounts if they've received a shot elsewhere.

Why is Austin Public Health not vaccinating people ages 50-64 yet? Dr. Mark Escott says there are still 200,000 people on APH's waiting list (older folks, teachers, school staff, etc.). Once APH has the supply, it will make Phase 1C recipients eligible in its system.
