INEOS haven't sacked Carrick for ONE reason and ONE reason only.
Sacking him means paying another compensation fee. That would probably take the total amount they've spent on compensation since taking charge to nearly £50 MILLION.
And if they go for Eddie Howe, they'll have to pay another compensation fee to get him, potentially pushing that total to £55-60 MILLION.
Their main objective is NOT to be successful on the football pitch, it’s to save as much money as possible. That’s why they’re delaying the inevitable.
They are completely clueless, have absolutely no idea what they're doing and are slowly DESTROYING this football club.
