Just an initial thought as this whole Venezuela thing unfolds. Maduro wanted out. It seems, based on some reports, that he was already discussing an exit with the US. The fact that he and his wife left together in what is being portrayed as a forced removal from power. He will disappear into history and live out his life well funded by US tax payers.
This is not a war with Venezuela. No more bombs will be dropped. The people of that country are celebrating their independence from almost thirty years of dictatorship and socialism. Relations will be normalized, oil companies will be brought in immediately to start getting all that oil on the market. The woman who supposedly won the election will take over.
Oh and speaking of the oil. Fun fact. Venezuelan oil is heavy crude, which is the same type we have been bringing in from the Canadian shale fields. Our infrastructure is designed to refine it. This was a strategic move to keep China, Russia, India and Iran away from it and limit their influence in our hemisphere. It is extremely close, in global distance, to our refineries. Capitalism will once again flood into that country and its resources will be brought to market. You will be able to vacation there soon. This was a free, capitalist country just 30 years ago. The third richest in the world. I’m not happy that we’re still doing regime change but I am happy to see all those people get a chance in life.
Up next, Iran? Cuba for sure. Both those countries have suffered under authoritarian regimes. The people there deserve a break.
When will they finally make tv coverage for golf better? All the technology available and we’re still watching it the same way we did in the 60s? Why no way to see the slope of the greens? Or the lie a player has? Anything to give us a feel for the contours and difficulties. #Masters2025

WOW listen to this: Woman in Connecticut breaks down her Electric Bill for 1 month
“I'm gonna show you the craziest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. You ready? This is our electric bill for one month”
They’re charging people “a thing called public benefits. This is for the people who can't pay for their electric bill, and we pay for it”
The fee is as much as her usage, “So I am paying to keep somebody else's lights on. Excuse me, what… Make it make sense”
Total for one month = $1,113.11 and it’s basically ALL fees
She’s shows you the bill and breaks it down:

Tonight, I forced a vote to block Biden from canceling $4.65B of Ukraine’s debt at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. His plan shifts the burden onto hardworking Americans already struggling with inflation. Sadly, the Ukraine 1st, America Last Caucus defeated my resolution.
Every person in the USA should walk out of work today in protest because of the Biden regime allowing long range missiles to be fired into Russia by Ukraine. No one want this. The American people don’t want this. The Russian people don’t want this. The Ukrainian people don’t want this.

It’s fantastic to see the establishment lose their minds over the Trump cabinet picks. The fact that all of these people don’t like the picks means we’re on to something exceedingly fantastic.
The loser of tonight’s debate is…America.
One candidate was appointed by their party, receiving no primary votes and participated in a coup against the sitting president while being complicit in hiding his senility.
The other candidate, a former one term president, got completely rolled by his appointed advisors while he was in office, set the country on an even more unsustainable financial path and is so many of the worst things in a person.
These are the two candidates we are given to choose from.
The democrat party spent over 30 million dollars to sue RFK jr to keep him off ballots in all states, forcing him to spend his money on defense instead of campaigning while now suing to force him to stay on ballots. Pure election interference. So he and other moderate democrats come out in favor of the opponent.
The Republican Party can’t join together to support their own candidate and have allowed their party to be taken over. now many prominent republicans are supporting their opponent.
If you think you have a choice in voting, you don’t. These two parties are just two wings of the same bird, two sides of the same coin. Both being bought by lobbyists, selling out the citizens for the good of the party and its minions.
The reality is we don’t currently have a functioning president and haven’t for probably many years. So, who’s running the executive branch? Those who are appointed and the party power brokers. Who will run the country if the democrats win? The same people. Who runs the country if the republicans win, the same people.
The one thing that is supposed to protect us from all this, the media, is 100% complicit in allowing this to happen. There are a few who truly tell it like it is but their voices are purposely drowned out and deplatformed by those controlling the narrative. People don’t believe in the integrity of our elections or the process anymore and are powerless to do anything about it because the very people running for election are the ones controlling the elections.
Either way, whoever gets elected the rest of us lose. We could be so much better.

The 2024 Election is going to be the Most RIGGED Election in History
“All they have to do is check a box on a form and sign their name. That's it. That's all that's required”
Speaker Mike Johnson “We now have so many non-citizens in the country that if only one out of 100 of those voted, they would cast hundreds of thousands of votes.”
“If a nefarious actor wants to intervene in our elections, all they have to do is check a box on a form and sign their name. That's it. That's all that's required.
Illegals voting, Democrats told us that's impossible but there are no federal requirements for states to verify citizenship of voters before they register.
— In New York state, for example, you can register to vote without an ID, without a social security number, as long as you have a utility bill or a paycheck or a government housing slip. And remember, if they get caught, oops, I didn't know it was illegal, charges dropped. And who's really trying to catch them anyway? And where do they get caught? Catch them after the election?
Joe Biden let 10 million+ illegal aliens into this country.
—The Washington Times has done extensive reporting on this and found in fact that there are quite a few cases of illegals who have actually been caught voting illegally in elections.
We don't know how many because Democrats work very, very hard to conceal that number and to start with, I think it's important to highlight what you, an important point you just made a minute ago, which is Democrats say, well, the reason we don't need to worry about this is because it's illegal for them to vote. Well, it's illegal for illegals to be illegally in the United States in the first place, and we have millions of them here.
That's why we call them illegals. And so the idea that you actually have the federal government signing up these illegals for free welfare, free health care, free housing, free travel, and then pressuring them to sign up to vote, to register to vote illegally, you can't tell me that that is an argument against trying to stop this.
The whole thing is designed to get these voters to vote illegally, and Democrats know exactly what they're doing and that's why they're doing. They know what they're doing and Johnson made a good point when he said what happens if all the Chinese nationals come here and they're all getting electricity bills pay stubs and they register and they all vote for Joe Biden to save China from the Trump terrorist. There you go that's the election interference right there.
Yep. And every single one of those votes is deprives another citizen of their right to vote because it cancels out that vote. These people prefer illegals over U.S. citizens. Biden's open borders are disenfranchising real American voters”
Not a single question about deficit spending. The #cnn moderators have done a horrible job. They didn’t keep these guys on point one single time. The loser of this debate is America. Tonight America lost. #Debates2024
Just take Embiid out of the game at this point. He can’t move and I’m beginning to think he can’t see out of that one eye
Odds that it’s #SuperTuesday and #facebookdown happening at the same time on the same day.
I don’t understand this border issue. We already have laws on the books to handle this. They just need to be enforced. If border agents are purposely ordered to circumvent the written law then aren’t the people doing the ordering violating the constitution and there should be removed from their positions?

If it’s the “fucking guns,” then why aren’t regular people who own guns going on shooting sprees daily? Why are we buying safes, securing our firearms, and only taking them out when necessary?
If it’s the “fucking guns,” then why aren’t you putting pressure on YOUR Leftist politicians, prosecutors, and judges so that the thugs out there carrying illegal guns and shooting people can go away for a long, long time?
If it’s the “fucking guns,” then why did Obama run guns into Mexico and Biden is running guns into Ukraine? You don’t think those same guns are going to make their way back here?
If it’s the “fucking guns,” then tell us all what laws are going to change things. We already have background checks, mental competency questions, felony checks, ammo background checks in New York, pistol grip laws, and the oh-so-special “gun free zones.” Which “one more law” are you going to instate that’s going to magically clear up everything?
Stop blaming the guns and do the real work to change the people. I’m not giving up my guns without a fight.

Hi there @SusanSarandon, this is my mom, my dad and me on the rail trail in Morgantown, West by God Virginia. Let me tell you what it means to be Muslim in America.
First, your backstory: At an anti-Israel protest in NYC, you just said, "There are a lot of people that are afraid, that are afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.”
Let me give you “a taste” of what it “feels like” to be a Muslim in America:
✅🇺🇸 My dad didn’t have to become a second-class indentured servant to one of the many tyrants of Muslim countries that use immigrants from India, like my family, as essential slaves. In 1975, after getting his PhD at Rutgers, he was about to go to Libya — a Muslim country — led by a Muslim, Moammar Qhadafi, to work like a servant with a PhD for a wealthy dictator…but then the phone rang one day and I picked it up…
✅🇺🇸 It was West Virginia University calling, and my dad got a job as an assistant professor of nutrition. He got rejected first for tenure but being Muslim in America meant he got a right like everybody got — his right to appeal and guess what? He won and he became a full professor. That’s what it means to be Muslim in America. You get your full rights, like @DrZuhdiJasser has wished for his family in the Muslim nation of Syria, where a Muslim dictator destroys the lives of Muslims.
✅🇺🇸 My mom? Being Muslim in America meant she got to live FREE with the wind in her hair, like @AlinejadMasih fights for women in the Muslim nation of Iran to be able to enjoy.
✅🇺🇸 And what did living free mean for my mom as a Muslim in America? It meant in 1981 she got to start a business on High Street in downtown Morgantown, called Ain’s International. That is something that @miss9afi wished women could have had the right to do in the Muslim nation of Saudi Arabia. But guess what? That entrepreneurship and financial independence is denied Muslim women in so many Muslim countries.
✅🇺🇸 That summer my mom started her business, I got on a plane at Pittsburgh airport for Tahlequah, Oklahama, and I went away from home at 16 for a National Science Foundation camp — without a male chaperone, a right denied Muslim women and girls in Saudi for so long.
✅🇺🇸 In another “taste” of being Muslim in America? My family got a pathway to citizenship. You think the Muslim dictatorship of Qatar allows a pathway to citizenship for Muslim slaves, servants or Palestinian Muslims? Hell no. The Muslim Al-Thani family just buys citizenship for Muslim soccer stars from countries in Africa to steal World Cup wins. But otherwise it treats non-Qatari Muslims like slaves. America? My family waited, took the test, studied the constitution and we are citizens — hallelujah!
✅🇺🇸 I’m going to fast forward because this is just a “taste” of what it means to be Muslim in America. In 2002, I fled Pakistan with a souvenir that could have gotten me imprisoned or killed: a baby growing inside of me, a wedding ring not upon my hand. Sharia law makes sex out of marriage a crime in Muslim countries like Pakistan. My body? The mullah’s tyranny. And even dare to be atheist like @YasMohammedxx? It’s also a crime punishable by death — in Muslim countries but not in America!
✅🇺🇸 Where do you think I came to give birth to my baby in safety and security, without shame? West by God Virginia in the United States of America — where we enjoy equal rights as Muslim AmeriCANs, not AmeriCANTs.
This is a “taste” of life for a Muslim family in America. Please don’t minimize the experience of Jewish Americans by sanitizing the hell that it is for Muslims living in Muslim countries and vilifying America for the life — and freedoms — she offers Muslims like my family. Go, live like a Muslim woman in a Muslim country.
You will come back to America and kiss the land beneath your feet. 🇺🇸

Pictured above is Astronaut Leland D. Melvin's official NASA portrait.
When NASA astronaut Leland Melvin was assigned to a space shuttle mission in 2008, he was told he could bring his family for the official photo shoot wearing the famous orange "pumpkin suit." They didn't specify two-legged or four-legged family members, and even though dogs were not typically allowed on the NASA base, Melvin considered his dogs part of his family.
So, Melvin brought his rescue dogs, Jake and Scout, along with a neighbor who could hold them and keep them quiet in the back of his van. "I got to the guard shack, flashed my badge, and I gunned the van and drove to the photo lab," Melvin said.
He then climbed the back stairs, where the photographer was waiting. Melvin went into the photo lab with 100 MilkBones to keep the dogs busy while he changed into his suit and came out. "They (the dogs) ran toward me, and I told the photographer to hold his finger on the shutter, and that's how the photo was born." After the photo shoot, Melvin had to change, and the MilkBones had disappeared.
"The dogs started barking, and a security guard came in and asked if there were dogs in there," Melvin said. "We said, 'No, that's the doggy screensaver!'" After he changed, he was able to quiet the dogs and leave the area.
