Honda won Super GT and (about to win) Super Formula. Toyota won Le Mans and WEC. everyone's happy

if I had a nickel for every time a Japanese reserve driver stepped in, scored a point and ended up above 3 full-time drivers in the standings this year, I'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

this gives me more confidence in Herta if he's in Cadillac next year.
Hirakawa honestly crushed it. Didn't light the world on fire but he proved the argument right. F1 drivers are really good, but it doesn't mean all the world's best must be racing there.

RB19 ruined f1twt's perception of wdc now ppl think you need to win every race by 2 minutes to be a worthy champion
I said this on priv a few days ago but i genuinely believe Antonelli has become one of the most underrated drivers on the grid, which is absolutely insane because how the fuck can you have the season he’s had and not be rated

Williams should swap both of their drivers tbh. one is slow and one can't race
πŸ“°: Ralf Schumacher believes 2027 will be Alex Albon’s last F1 season with Williams, saying he would have replaced him already. β€œHe’s fed up,” Schumacher says, citing Albon’s 6:18 qualifying and 8:16 race deficit to Sainz, plus the Austin clash with Alonso. Williams should swap him for a younger driver by 2028 at the latest. #F1 #MexicoGP

Lindblad was 6th in 2025. Kimi was 6th in 2024. Bearman was 12th in 2024. Hadjar was 14th in 2023. Mazepin was 5th, above Zhou who's 6th in 2020. Kobayashi never finished above 16th in GP2. F2 isn't a serious championship. and even when it was, it doesn't mean everything.

and i didn't even mention the ones who underachieved in F2, didn't make it into F1 but thrived elsewhere against other proved talents, like Barnard, Martins, Lundgaard.

in most ideal scenario Yuki still needs to wait at least a year before getting the MSR seat. i hope he does some sportscar racing next year. it's easier to find a seat than in single seater. and it doesn't even have to be full-time.
Just being realistic on Yuki Tsunoda. I'm not hating him in this, but a reality check for him. (He will not read this obv).

if Toyota really want their own driver to make it into F1 in the future they should send kids to F4 series in Europe like what Honda been doing.
Unfortunately for our friend Finjo he’s wrong. But there Haas to be questions (Pun intended) around Toyota’s F1 plans in the future. As the β€œMain” sponsor, Toyota have the β€œupper edge” to make some decisions, as with Hirakawa it’s not a surprise that he was involved deeply this year. He was the main driver Toyota wants after Ritomo Miyata failed to impress during his Formula 2 campaign. But it’s not good enough, with Ferrari & Rafa Camara’s sponsorship have the upper edge over Toyota. Don’t get me wrong that Camara is a top prospect, and he obviously deserves the seat. Now what are Toyota’s plan? Are they bidding for another their driver to challenge the 2028 seat? Waiting for Oliver Bearman to leave? Are they hoping Ryo Hirakawa to continue to be on the sidelines of Haas? Are they hoping Sho Tsuboi to quickly adapt to European racing? Or like from my article, they’re waiting for Yuki Sano or Jin Nakamura to step up. We can only guess for now. #F1

if you want a kid to racing in Japan then keep him in Japan. if you want him to race in F1 he should start his formula career in Europe. making the switch after he already doing SF lights or even SF is too late

imagine it's Hirakawa out of nowhere. I'm kidding i know it's Camara but it would be funny as fuck to see f1twt reaction if it's Hirakawa
On the line... ☎️ #HaasF1 #F1

Haven’t seen anyone mention this scenario but if F1 decided to disqualify all 22 current drivers for no reason, Yuki Tsunoda would become drivers' champion.
Haven’t seen anyone mention this scenario but if F1 decided to cancel all the races left this season for no reason other than the fact that they could, Kimi Antonelli would become drivers' champion instantly.

Hatewatching Stroll wasn't even fun anymore this year. Every week he just got knocked out in Q1 and retired in the race when no one noticed. What's fun about that

i can accept cancelling the remaining rounds but at least they should officially announce it before Baku coz for the ones fighting for the title they gonna have completely different approach on track based on whether it's the final round or not.

he basically used Tsunoda's car as brake to avoid going off coz clearly his own brake ain't working here
Here is Checo’s start and you can see Sainz torpedo into Tsunoda😭 teapawt.net/contentspmv/status/209…

i think Slater is the best driver this season in terms of raw speed and ovrrall performance. it's a shame he doesn't have a fair chance to fight in the end because of Trident's incompetence & the bizarre track choice for the season finale. he probably still has a chance to…

bad driver with no talent and lots of cash. that's the exact opposite of who actually suppose to be in that team.

it's official. Yuki Tsunoda ties with Kamui Kobayashi as the Japanese driver with most f1 points scored.
Yuki Tsunoda scored 124 points in f1 so far. so this weekend he still has chance to become the Japanese driver with most f1 points scored. the current record holder is Kamui with 125 points.
