It finally happened. After 4+ years of owning, 15,000+ hours of usage… The Vive Pro eye is finally dead, no more VR for me for a while haha If you’re curious, the motherboard will no longer operate due to heat damage overtime

As someone who’s used face + eye tracking in VR for over 4 years now, I might have to start toggling it or stop using it entirely. After some experimenting, I’ve found that me using eye tracking somehow causes my anxiety to spike, and I just want to enjoy time with friends><
