The National Wireless Emergency Alert System Testing.
A majority of cell phone users will receive an alert at 2:18pm with the header “Presidential Alert” and the message, “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
Route 6 (the LAH portion) is closed West Bound between the Route 195 off ramp and High St due to a fatal MVA. Mansfield FD and CSP on scene.

REMINDER: On Wednesday 10/3 at 2:18 PM EDT, FEMA will conduct a nationwide test of the Wireless Emergency Alert system, in coordination with the FCC. You’ll get a message box on your phone with a tone & vibration.
Severe flooding in the area. Multiple state and local roads are closed in Lebanon and Windham. Do not drive through standing water over the roads. Rescues of trapped drivers have already taken place. Use caution while driving.

MANSFIELD CT: #MansfieldFire is on scene of a MVA with life threatening injury on Stafford Rd (RT32) between Ravine Rd & Plains Rd. RT32 is closed.
Be aware of heavy police activity on the upper section of Mansfield Ave in Willimantic. Avoid the area if possible.
