If you're afraid AI will take your job, become a data annotator and help train it. If you're any good, you'll become a QA reviewer and get to see other annotators' work. You'll never be afraid again.
The evolution of my professional playground:
books → web 2.0 → web3 → books
I'm not even sure myself what you can expect from this profile in the future.
I love AI, but I don't use it for important research and writing projects or for editing my clients' manuscripts. Here's why. ourworkapp.com/pub/post/cmpn…
AI detectors are not reliable, and the companies selling them know it. Here's why you shouldn't trust them. (Written by a human, provably.) ourworkapp.com/pub/post/cmpc…

Post modernism can be explained in one simple complexity:
All truth is subjective, and that is objectively true, unless someone disagrees with your truth, in which case, whether subjective or objective, their truth is objectively untrue.
For anyone who's been missing me: I see your DMs - thank you!
I love crypto and all, but we also invested in some land, and it's been making me happy beyond belief. (Not changing my niche to gardening, though. Some things are just meant to stay offline.)
For me, web3 used to mean NFTs, mini-games, and DeFi - none of which I actually cared about.
Now it's all about organizing knowledge and preserving what matters onchain.
I followed many authors in 2015, and still do. But (relatively) uncensored news on this platform is far more compelling than all those blurbs, more emotionally charged and more disturbing than any thriller or psychological drama. And the world is more complex than any genre piece can depict.
Classic literature is a whole other thing. ⏬
One thing I don't get about web3: people tokenize everything, but the content itself isn't stored onchain - it's just as vulnerable as anything on web2.
Store your art/writing/videos onchain. Back up existing content. It's easy, fast, and costs are symbolic.
Well this is sad news.😢
Nifty Gateway is shutting down and users are realizing their NFTs might break when the servers go offline.
The token is on-chain but the art isn't. That's always been the gap.
Content-addressed, permanent storage closes it. No URLs to break. No servers to sunset. The data exists wherever there's a gateway to reach it.
If you're an artist or collector figuring out how to preserve your assets, DM me. Happy to help.
If you're a web3 content creator but you post on X, which is web2, are you really a web3 creator?
Many popular web3 blogging platforms actually use Arweave to store content. You can do that yourself easily and have more choice over where to publish.
Post wherever you want - X, Substack, Medium, or even LinkedIn if that's your thing - and then archive it on Arweave.
Archive your contributions to other websites, like guest posts and other bylined content.
Archive pages about you and your business, press releases, news, Wikipedia pages, whatever.
For X posts, use @NeedsArNS. For X articles and web pages generally, use Turbo.ar.io. Get your content permanently captured in web3.
(BTW, two things:
1. Arweave offers a lot more than this and has solutions for all types of files, YouTube videos, etc. - all very convenient and affordable.
2. I'm not affiliated with them nor paid for posting this - just so happy these solutions exist.)
Geo is one of the very few web3 projects I find truly meaningful. Happy to share I've been accepted into the curator program.
You can join us, too. It's still not too late to apply.
Just a few days until the Geo Curator Program begins on Jan 26!
The entry point for people who want to help organize, evaluate, & govern public knowledge. Work that compounds instead of disappearing into feeds.

Just archived this on permaweb via Turbo.ar.io. Feels good to have it stored onchain. bgj2jvhvc3zpwdbzy5piiolrtitv…
