I look forward to the day when a free Iran again advances global peace, security.
It was a great honor to welcome @PahlaviReza to our @RMA_Belgium for an insightful discussion about the situation in the Middle East.
In a guest lecture for our next generation of military leaders, he delivered a powerful message of hope.
The present rulers in Iran hold global trade hostage. They enable Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. They violently suppress dissent at home and export instability abroad. Yet a different Iran is also possible. One in which the Iranian people can choose their own form of government in free and fair elections. An Iran that cooperates with its neighbors instead of threatening them. One that works with Europe instead of dividing it.
This message of hope has left me and many others with a lot to think about. Imagining such a different future is exactly what the oppressive rulers in Tehran seek to prevent by means of intimidation. But hope for a better future will always conquer fear.
I am proud to stand alongside a leader of such stature.

در پاسخ به پرسش‌های رسانه‌ها و نگرانی‌های ابرازشده از سوی هم‌میهنان، به اطلاع می‌رسانیم که شاهزاده رضا پهلوی همچنان در مراسم اعطای جایزه آزادی فریدریش نائومان شرکت می‌کنند و مصصم‌اند که پس از آن، در گردهمایی بزرگ ایرانیان در Ostpark فرانکفورت نیز حضور یابند.
این گردهمایی همچنان طبق برنامه برگزار خواهد شد و تیم شاهزاده در همکاری نزدیک با مقامات امنیتی و پلیس، تمام تلاش خود را برای فراهم کردن امکان حضور ایشان به کار گرفته است.

⚠️ General Strike Alert – Spain, November 11:
A general strike is scheduled across Spain on November 11, 2026. Workers from all sectors, including hospitality and transportation, are called to strike.
Public transportation will be limited to minimum services. Confirm travel plans with your train company/airline and expect delays. Demonstrations can cause last-minute road closures or cancellations.
Museums, shops, restaurants, and pharmacies may be closed. Plan in advance for personal needs.
Demonstrations, both planned and spontaneous, will occur throughout the country. Picket lines may be formed. Even protests, demonstrations, and gatherings intended to be peaceful can escalate quickly or have the potential to turn violent. Expect more police presence and possible road closures.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid demonstrations and crowds.
- Monitor local media for updates and travel disruptions.
- Check with your train/airline for changes.
- Notify friends and family of your safety.

The @FBI and our partners are seeing malicious cyber activity targeting industrial refrigeration and cold-chain monitoring systems around the world. These systems help keep food, medicine, and other products at safe temperatures and are widely used across critical infrastructure sectors.
Attackers are targeting electronic temperature and refrigeration controllers, particularly in grocery stores and cold storage facilities. In at least one recent incident, attackers targeted refrigeration components at three foreign blood service facilities.
While this attack was unsuccessful due to the proper alert mechanisms in place, security weaknesses in unpatched or internet-accessible controllers can allow attackers to change system settings, potentially causing inventory loss and equipment damage.
The FBI urges organizations using these systems to take the following steps:
➡️ Take controllers off the public internet
➡️ Put access behind a firewall
➡️ Change default passwords
➡️ Learn how vendors configure devices
➡️ Set safe temperature limits
➡️ Ensure alerts reach the right contacts

The Iranian people are not the Islamic Republic. They are its first victims.
I had the privilege of taking part in the meeting with Crown Prince @PahlaviReza, alongside fellow Members of the European Parliament. I was also honoured to deliver the opening remarks.
I spoke about why the future of Iran matters enormously to Europe.
For too long, the Islamic regime has denied Iranians their freedom while financing terrorism, destabilising the Middle East and supporting Russia's war against Ukraine.
A free and democratic Iran would open the door to greater regional stability, stronger economic cooperation and a new partnership between Iran and Europe.
Europe's future is closely connected to Iran's future. The Iranian people deserve the right to determine their own future, and we must continue to support that right.
