New Jersey - Quote from Gov. Mikie Sherrill, "Last week I learned that a serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years prior to my taking office."
In 1995, New Jersey DMV has been making "Opt In Registration" available for anyone obtaining a new driver's license.
In 2018, Gov. Phil Murphy changed this. He authorized the *Automatic Voter Registration System* which automatically registered people to vote while obtaining their driver's license.
What else was happening? Gov. Phil Murphy opened up availability for non citizens / illegal aliens to obtain driver's licenses from 2019 and on. This means, all were being registered to vote.
But, 🙄Gov. Mikie Sherrill had no idea !!??!! 🤨 And Mikie it is more than 6,600 people. And it is LONGER than 2023.
