A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

I just love this one: "Ukraine, don't antagonize Trump."
Listen -- from the very first day of his return to the White House (and even long before that), Ukraine has indulged his every whim and gone along with every one of his insane plans.
It has dutifully catered to his grotesque craving for the most nauseating flattery and joined everyone else in massaging his monstrous ego, singing in chorus the praises of his incredible leadership, talent, power, and divine beauty.
Ukraine, and Zelensky himself in particular, has turned a blind eye to and endured countless humiliations, insulting antics, idiotic outbursts on Truth Social, and hysterical spectacles like the Oval Office showdown.
Ukraine has unfailingly supported 100% of his ridiculous, nonsensical, and downright idiotic imaginary "ceasefires," which Putin couldn't have given less of a damn about. And yet Ukraine had to listen, over and over again, to accusations that it "doesn't want peace," responding to every such outrage with yet more praise for Trump and bending over backward to appease him, desperate not to give him the slightest excuse to accuse it of being "uncooperative."
Meanwhile, Putin has spent all this time amusing himself, making a complete fool of Trump in front of the entire world, and openly spitting on every one of his frantic diplomatic maneuvers.
We've been living in this madhouse, where night has become day and day has become night, for almost two years now.
And what?
How's that working out?
What has all of this accomplished?
More slaps in the face, and ultimately, Donald Trump's complete and final betrayal and his active decision to side with the Russian aggressor.
And somehow it's Ukraine that's "antagonizing" someone?
At least have the decency to stop hiding behind this laughable victim-blaming and your invented alternate realities, and just come out and say it: "Just fucking die, all of you Ukrainians, so our idol can line his pockets with Kremlin money."

Those who preach peace through capitulation won't tell you what russian occupation means.
russians occupied Izyum for less than 6m.
After liberation, we found mass graves of 447 ppl. Most of them were civilians — 215 women, 194 men and 5 children. Many bodies had signs of violent death.
This is what people with proud 'Christian' in their bios are pushing Ukraine for.

But they're not consistent.
They're actually quite militaristic but want to misuse the armed forces as a means to dominate and to leverage.
They subscribe to a sort of reverse Monroe Doctrine belief of hemispheric thuggery.
Trump and Putin share the same vision of Might Makes Right,
They don't see Ukraine as large enough to have the dignity of their own sovereignty and believe that Ukraine should recognize that "reality," lay down their arms and subjugate themselves to permanent enslavement to the more dominant Russians, while surrendering their Ukrainian identity that has ancient roots going back for over a millennium in the process.
In reality, Ukraine has more than held their own in this fight and the only thing standing between Ukraine and certain victory and freedom forever is Donald Trump's desire to have this conflict end on terms entirely favorable to the aggressor.
Among MAGA scum, they conveniently talk of the virtues of pursuing peace through surrender while supporting tyrannical forces who wage war, violate established territorial boundaries in direct defiance of the post-war rules-based order. They are saying surrender to the more powerful otherwise you're a "warmonger" for fighting back while thinking that you're somehow entitled to justice, peace and happiness when you should really be living a life of servitude to the stronger. MAGA people are quite confused and have allowed their minds to get twisted from reality for the sake of the very political polarization upon which they think their personal identity depends.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse." - John Stuart Mill
I think it's true that nothing symbolizes human failure more than war and it should be avoided when humanly possible, even going to extreme measures to do so. But we are no longer as alive as we might think should we lose all moral conviction as a society where short-term personal safety is prioritized over freedom and justice as that reflects a far more destructive state of degradation.
There is also the ancient proverb:
"Nothing is worse than war, except a bad peace."
In other words, agreeing to surrender and live under oppression is actually worse.
The American founders knew all of this, and we have many great quotes from the day that express these truths during the turmoil of the impending revolution, from George Washington to Thomas Jefferson, from Thomas Paine to Patrick Henry. The essence of New Hampshire's state motto which can be seen on its license plate: "Live Free or Die" says it all.
As long as there is tyranny there will be war, one of the ultimate human failures, one that brings immense human suffering including atrocities, but the worst human failure of all is capitulating to tyranny.
Disempowering tyrants over the long run is the only path to a durable and just peace.

A must-watch exchange between Brian @kilmeade and Rachel Campos-Duffy on FOX & Friends about Ukraine and Trump’s Russian diesel deal. Here’s the full transcript:
CAMPOS-DUFFY: I know you're a big fan of Zelensky, but yesterday President Trump said maybe it's time for an election and a new leader in Ukraine because Zelensky keeps blowing up these refineries after the president said, "Please don't do that," especially before the midterms. He keeps doing it, and it's hurting President Trump and the administration, who's been very generous toward him and his war effort.
KILMEADE: The president got ticked off because Zelensky came out and said, "Do not buy 5 million tons of diesel," which is in violation, I thought, of the bill they just signed, Lindsey Graham's bill, that says if you buy any energy from Russia, you're going to get sanctioned with tariffs. Are we going to tariff ourselves? So I have no idea. Zelensky's frustrated because now all this money is going to flow into Russia, which started this whole war unprovoked. They are the bad guys, and there is no way Zelensky turned down any plausible deal. In fact, since that time, when they told him he was going to lose the Donbas, he has gained back portions of the Donbas.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: Are you saying that there were no peace efforts?
KILMEADE: There was no plausible, practical peace effort that Vladimir Putin would participate in effectively that would end this war. There's one person who is responsible: Vladimir Putin. That is it. And he gets his ass kicked.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: There was a peace deal that—I think Turkey was trying to broker it, and Boris Johnson advised Zelensky not to take that deal.
KILMEADE: It doesn't matter. I don't know what Boris Johnson's doing now. Is he in a retirement home?
CAMPOS-DUFFY: I think there's a reason why the president is buying diesel from Russia, and that's because Zelensky keeps blowing up the refineries.
KILMEADE: Can you blame him? That's the war machine that's killing his people, that bombs apartment buildings.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: But he's dependent on us, and the president said, "Don't do this." Are you for America or for Ukraine?
KILMEADE: The diesel fuel got stopped because Iran was blowing up the Gulf states' oil and their refineries, and now all of a sudden there's a new emphasis on Russia. But for me, the way Ukraine innovated drone technology in order to take out what's fueling the Russian war machine is phenomenal. They'll be writing about this in war journals forever. The Ukrainians have modernized modern war before our very eyes.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: I'm not so sure that's a positive, Brian. I mean, there are 30,000 young men on each side who are dying every single month.
KILMEADE: Vladimir Putin.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: Every single month. We should not be practicing drone technology and using these kids as guinea pigs.
KILMEADE: What kids?
CAMPOS-DUFFY: The soldiers. These are young men…
KILMEADE: Rachel, these are in response to attacks. They're getting rocketed, so they found a way…
CAMPOS-DUFFY: The president said he wanted peace in Ukraine, and he said he was going to do that.
KILMEADE: Tell Vladimir Putin.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: Well, now, because of what Zelensky is doing, we're probably going to get peace there because President Trump is now working with Russia, because Zelensky is so arrogant.
KILMEADE: It would be the biggest mistake of his administration to work with Russia. That is the modern Hitler of our generation. He is the cause of all the problems in the region, and now he's helping Iran kill our guys and blow up our bases. And now, yeah, the story you pointed out to me today in The Wall Street Journal—you see that they and China are providing drones to the Houthis. China and Russia are the problem.
